    Had a yarn with George Dyer after the game tonight, he said he's re-signing with the Chiefs and not going to Munster.

    I live in Perth and love it so far, and yes, it's far easier traveling the world from there than where I previously was in Christchurch. Beautiful city and the stadiums are nice and close to me.

    When extending his contract, Nic White complimented the force and his family praised the outdoor lifestyle. It's got appeal beyond scuba, albalone and crays, wreck diving, and traditional watersports too, big for kitesurfing etc.

    Good to see him stay for another year after the French rumours. The selection of the back three in 2026 will be hotly contested.

    Caught Tepaea Cook-Savage at the Waikato Women's game just now. He's signed for the Chiefs next year.

    @Yeetyaah Watching his partner play. A close game in the end. Why hasn't he played that often this season?

    The Chiefs have officially announced that Rameka Poihipi is off to Japan. Only a few months after the news.

    Time for some signings...

    In the article about Jacomb they also mention that DMac has a sabbatical clause for 2028. While that's still a few years away it should make the choice of the third 1st 5 more important as the Chiefs either need to sign someone now to develop, or identify who will replace Jacomb from 2027. The fact that the Chiefs wanted to retain Jacomb must mean Trask is definitely going back to Japan.

    It's a shame Taha Kemara had re-signed before Mo'unga announced his "return." He would be one of the best replacements.

    Lucas Cashmore might be the best local option.

    I’d still chase one of the Cane’s players.

    Godfrey looks like a player that would suit Chiefs rugby (based on the little I’ve seen him) although our style may change now with Jono in charge.

    The Chiefs will need a specialist 1st 5, as there are more options at fullback (ENS, Taumoefolau, Cook-Savage). The latter can also play 1st 5 but maybe the third option at this stage.

    @zedsdeadbaby

    Very easy to make the argument to him now.
    Come learn from Dmac and from 2028 you may have the keys.
    At the landers, Jacomb could be an AB by that time.
