@voodoo I'm pleased to see more people seeing what I've been seeing. I'm firmly of the belief if he sat on the pine, half our problems would be resolved.

It goes even further than that, he'd actually be a fucking weapon off the pine in the final quarter. As it is he is often a liability starting in among the highlights. It's frustrating they wouldn't even consider it given in the modern game the bench players are actually hugely important.

Also a sub plot that no one’s brought up, Tim Donnelly has done a seriosuly good job with those Wallabies forwards. Another coach lost overseas

Donnelly’s body of work in NZ wasn’t exactly screaming out international coach.

And despite that he’s done a fantastic job at the Force and Wallabies. Either way he’s been a success post move

Fun game to watch live. Plenty of footy played by both sides, close, and the good guys won.

But holy shit the ABs are average. They are so static in everything they do, in a stark contrast to Australia who were actually playing on the run. Its alarming how Roigard is the most important player on the team without him we're fucked.

Was i entertained? Yes. Was i impressed by the ABs? Very much no.

This is an ordinary rugby team

@mariner4life exactly how I saw it. Entertaining but unconvincing.

Jorgenson's shaping up to be some player.

    Shades of Christian Cullen?

Cullen looked like he was gliding when he ran, Max alludes defenders more like Ben Smith in my view. Max is a class player and he’s still so young.

Are you alluding to how Jorgensen eludes?

Roigard has the true all black mentality and self belief that’s been missing. So fucking refreshing.
Leroy Carter too, actually sitting sualii and ikitau down, which should be proctors job.

I saw on another platform someone suggesting that Love had given Hansen some honest feedback around game plan and they’ve had a falling out. Similarly, there’s a crusaders vs the rest divide within camp with only a handful of players attending Cody Taylor’s 100th test drinks. All hearsay but sounds kinda believable

Usually I'm a believer in where there's smoke, there's fire, but even I'm struggling to believe that one (could be wrong of course).

@jimmyb Totally disagree, today was the only game Tamaiti actually looked involved. Still prefer Ethan at the moment, and clearly the coaches back him too.

To be fair, based on what we've seen so far, a great body of work in NZ doesn't scream out international coach either...

Recently read Whitelock & Foster's books.. A lot of the rumours and "sauce" around the AB's during their time were clearly absolute bollocks.

There's discussion & disagreements going on all the time but that just par for the course - and generally pretty healthy to get out in the open.

We are a dreadful Rugby team.

    Razor has to go.

It was a sad vista to see him walk off, but you'd have to think/hope that was Beauden Barretts last game in black.

    Compare to Read and McCaw.

    Is that really fair?

What 7 and 8 ever compares to Read and McCaw?

    Effort wise it is yes.

Savea is jogging around looking for a "me" moment.

Even in his turnover today, he jumps up and struts off in a performative fashion.

the "I wont even dignify this turnover with a high five, non celebration celebration"

I suspect he now stays until the RWC.

But we need a bit of a clear out of the assistants and to get coaches with more international experience.

    Great comeback by the Wallabies.

A huge opportunity for them to break the "Eden Park curse"

Especially if the All Blacks have another melting down in the last twenty minutes.

    What were you doing watching?

@booboo A match that was 20-17 at half time (which was still the scoreline when I wrote that) and Australia had scored the last two tries

Wallabies were doing a better job of simple draw and pass while running straight.

We often seem to put in a lot of energy and effort for no return on attack.
