All Blacks vs Wallabies Bledisloe II

Be an interesting selection this week. The corresponding fixture last year was diabolical in terms of building for the future: in were TJP, BB, ALB. FFS.
I'd leave the backs alone. McKenzie in is a big change by itself, and based on last week the rest of the backs deserve another shot outside him.
Forwards I dunno. I'm kind of resigned to us being dominated in the loose forwards, which is pretty sad. I just don't think we have the squad balance right there. Holland is a must for me, because we can at least ensure good lineout ball. -

Suspect Ioane will come onto the pine in place of Tupaea if there's any concern around Clarke's fitness.
Didn't Tupaea come on as a wing on the weekend and handle himself well? I don't see the need for the change.

The media is hammering the loss of Beauden Barrett and virtually what a tragedy it is.
Do they really not watch games it is a blessing in disguise. Not even very well disguised if you ask me.

It’s incredible really.

It’s a weird scenario with so many Allblacks supporters ( not just here ) predicting a loss against a team ranked much lower than us .
Usually we can be accused of being overconfident and arrogant, but the self belief with supporters has hit rock bottom.

We are gun shy from the top down.
Our CEO was/is gun shy.
Our coach is gun shy.
Our 10 is gun shy.
Our captain is gun shy.
There are an ever increasing number of players who deserved a decent shot and weren’t really given one…Fakatava, Stevenson, Sotutu, Laumape, AJ Lam. To an extent Ruben Love and Tavatavanawai are in that bracket now.
There are/will be way more Allblack centurions than there should be…

You get 100 caps for the Allblacks now for being a good man in the dressing room.
It’s the civil service.
Harder to be dropped than picked.

I've never felt so disillusioned with an AB coaching group before, and that's saying a LOT after the Fozzie years. We have very poor tactics and selection wise we are not even picking the best players available.
I hope we win, I really do, every win matters and as a long term fan I am obviously very proud of the ABs overall record. But I have zero faith in what Razor and his assistants are doing, they all look well and truly out of their depth.

I saw this photo the other day from the EP Bledisloe test. Flat footed, not looking at the line, front rower standing deep behind the line as well

There's a few who could hit that milestone next year if the selection process continues as it has
-
Perth to Broome, much further than London to Moscow
WA, much bigger than all those puny little European countries.

McDermott going to need surgery on his hamstring - out for a while it seems
It's a bugger for him NTA. I could almost feel his hammy ripping as his legs spreadeagled on Saturday What is it with halfbacks this year for Wallabies and ABs?

I think the setup was Jordie moving to fullback with Jordan and Carter on the wing
QT and Proctor midfield.
