Concerned with Tupaea playing out of position against quality backs and Faingaʻanuku who was a bang average winger on defence.

But a backline reshuffle and opportunities for bench players will amount to naught if our forward pack are meek kittens.

On the positive side Carter has shown some nice mongrel ( is that an oxymoron ? ) on defence.

He has shown more desire and ticker than most of the rest of the team. For a seemingly smaller guy, he plays big. We could do with more like him

He man handled both Suaalii and Ikitau within 60 seconds last week.

One of them reminded me of the tackle Kaino made in the 2011 SF

Was just great to see someone relishing putting a shoulder in.

The hits were as much for him as they were for the cause.

A shame they didn't seem to fire everyone else up

I cant see Australia winning with Edmed.

That would be sign of catastrophic failure by the ABs and the coaches.

Thank god we finally get to see Roigard-McKenzie, that's the combination we've been waiting way too long for. I think I'm right in saying that Ireland last year is the only big game they've played together?

    8th November 2024
Damian McKenzie was named player of the match after a fine performance showing control and flair to help steer his All Blacks side to an assured victory at the Aviva Stadium, scoring 18 points in the process.

    Match Ireland 13 v New Zealand 23 - 08/11/2024 - Quilter Nations Series - Quilter Nations Series

    Match Ireland 13 v New Zealand 23 - 08/11/2024 - Quilter Nations Series - Quilter Nations Series

Relive the highlights of the match between Ireland and New Zealand on 08/11/2024 at Aviva Stadium where New Zealand won the game 13 - 23.

I'm at a loss at the subsequent selection logic

Ray does seem to be heading in the right direction. A few put out to pasture.
It's about time Love gets a decent 30 minutes. There's no reason why not.

@ShaquilleOatmeal thing is, Dmac needs to Fire otherwise they will revert to BB.

Well kinda...he needs to show the coaches what they want - which might look pretty unfirey to the rest of us...

One Aussie you’d happily buy a beer. Comes across as a top bloke in interviews.

@Bones you mean aimless kicking and unattacking rugby? I reckon i could fit that gameplan.

It's always a tricky question which Aussies you would or wouldn't buy a beer: James Slipper is where I'd draw the line.

You forgot to do a thoroughly uncommitted, meandering chase. Dropped.
