Anyway, not a lot of excitement over selections is there really, it kind of feels like another AB/Wallaby test but without much on it. Realistically the Boks got RC tied up, Bled is tied up, so we getting a trot in the park??
I still hold out some hope that the Boks have been hanging out at London pubs all week and the Argies pull out a massive effort to scrape a win.
@ACT-Crusader One can only hope that drinking their own urine will eventually give them a crook belly.

LJ not considered. Heβs not injured, but I wonder whether heβs at the match fitness levels yet?
Begs the question why the fuck he is in the squad for TRC?
Taking up a spot that could go to another loosie
The likes of Lio Willie and Papalii must be thinking wtf

Soooo are these guys in consideration at all for the EOYT? Or are we just gonna see the same guys rolled out over and over?

My feeling is the coaching team were unhappy with the results and thought it must be some of those guys without realising it was their shite coaching all along.
Are the results getting better? If they lose this weekend then they go from marginally better to no better than last year. Basically two years of no progress. I mean you can argue that this weekends results is meaningless given the Wallabies have Gordon and Edmed starting in the halves. It's virtually impossible for the AB's to lose with those two there.

But I'll settle for 2nd place.
You can have second place in Saturday's game. Now don't say I'm not generous...

If Scooter is playing injured, I'll be driven to the drink. Early.
If we lose, I'll be driven to the drink.
If we win, I'll be drinking, but only because it would be rude not to. -

After Canterbury win the NPC, there will be at least 5 players joining the AB squad for the EOYT. You heard it here first.

Rieko is back, on the bench?
Presume that is because of utility value rather than form. I think the change they need to make is the backline coach. Playing a 2nd at centre is risky. Hope he goes well but smacks of desperation rather than a plan.
Whatβs the alternative? Proctor has been poor so he appropriately gets dropped. Tupaea is the next cab off the rank but J Barrett is probably the second best player in this team and itβs not really an option to drop him. Tupaea has played 13 plenty of times and Ioane is there to cover if it turns to shit. Iβm not sure what the alternative is given we donβt have another 13 in NZ thatβs any good
@jimmyb most of the problems stem from a 1st five that doesnβt run and shit kicks the ball away - the defence can ignore him. And Jordie for all his strengths offers no footwork - so just a straight runner. Proctor hasnβt been terrible but probably hasnβt met expectations. Hopefully Tupaea goes well but he be bombed a try last week by cutting in when the draw and pass was a certainty.
I think the real problem is that Holland has done nothing with this backline. We still see BB cross kicking front foot ball away inside the 22 on a penalty advantage vs Australia, and chip kicking the ball away from inside our 22 in the last 20 minutes against SA - and that worked, not. I would look inside not out for changes. Hopefully Damien plays well.

or just a really emotional man?So much drama in your posts (I thought you said you weren't going to watch last week?)

Lakai at least hit some rucks and tackled with intent last week. Sititi has been extremely poor in that regard this season.

Bit of a mystery how passive he has been after his breakout season last year

Is it Holland or Hansen? I thought Holland was more in charge of strike plays while Hansen has responsibility for the inside backs, and obviously the love affair with BB. Both should be criticised.

@SammyC Thank you for reading my posts and for the feedback. I have opinions. They may not be yours. That's fine. It's forum. People will express their opinions. And I stand by every word.
Love and peace, Sparky.
