    149 players.

Surprised not to see Fletcher Cooper on that list. I know he’s only year 11 but he’s mature beyond his years and is probably Streams best player already. Really looking forward to seeing how he develops.

There’s massive wraps on him in Wellington college rugby and after seeing him win the game against Wel Col on Sky the other week, he looks to have a big future.

Fletcher Stirling Cooper (St Patrick’s Silverstream), if rugby doesn't work out he should just start his own Ad agency. All jokes aside he looks like a very promising player.

Not sure how I missed him, good that he's in there. Have you seen much of him? I'm hearing good things but unfortunately I don't follow school boy rugby these days apart from the odd game on Sky.

Blues were asked on social media if he was injured and they just said he was “unavailable this time”. Strange answer

Jamie Viljoen has been signed by Taranaki, hence why he was in the Chiefs U18 list.

Did the Crusaders release who attended their U18 camp?

Amazing considering how few made the various national rep teams from out of Wellington, and how many Welly based players featured in this team.

Here are the squads/teams. They have a similar amount of players missing with the NZS. Some players who were involved with the Barbarian U18s and Māori U18s.

Darren Larsen still oversees the Hurricanes development so your observations are totally consistent with his history.

Darren Larsen was the coach of the Barbarians U18s again, although I don't know how much say he had in the selection of that squad.

The Highlanders are having an inter-squad game.

Crazy to think Fletcher Stirling Cooper is playing Under 18s and he still has two more years left of school.
