Who would've thought this would have ended 15-15 once Canterbury drew level? I assumed they would ground out a 10 point win.

    Such an absorbing game.

Counties have put in a heck of a shift. Feel like Canterbury will put some points on over the next 20 and run away with it.

Pretty smart 10 minutes into the wind from
Canterbury. Didn’t give them any ball in that 10 minutes really

Much better first 10 minutes into the wind for the Cantabs. Didn't give Counties a sniff of the ball.

Apparently the third best hooker in NZ while also being Canterbury's third best hooker. Probably the third best in this game too.

    Very enjoyable game

Excellent effort by Counties but Canterbury deserved winners

Counties didnt score a point after the 31st minute

    I felt tired watching that.

You wouldn't have known that was 1 vs 8.

Oh well, another season as a Counties supporter over. All I ask is for improvement year on year and we are seeing that. We just need to start the year better. Hopefully a few more players get Super Rugby contracts.

Cam Church is an NZ Universities legend. Good to see him playing so well

Other than BOP, CM was the team I was most worried about playing on the quarters. Their attack is very good especially the way they use some of their big forwards.

Was a hard fought win by the good guys 😎

@mikedogz staggering back end of the season from Counties Manukau .
The heart they showed against a stacked Canterbury team was special and as CM supporter you should be extremely proud
When you consider the 2 rosters it just shows despite those differences In professional personal a gun coach like Reon Graham can inspire many players from club level
The CM Dev team also took out the NR Dev tournament.
I believe Reon does a ton of work behind the scenes in and around the development of players

Congratulations on a more than solid season

@Steven-Harris , Yeah, its part of Reon Grahams job description to do all of that work around development and working with other rep coaches. Some provincial coaches spend the first part of the year at Super rugby level or the new ones aren't even appointed at that time. As a recent Premier club coach, he would be fully aware of the talent in the province.
