@Steven-Harris , Yeah, its part of Reon Grahams job description to do all of that work around development and working with other rep coaches. Some provincial coaches spend the first part of the year at Super rugby level or the new ones aren't even appointed at that time. As a recent Premier club coach, he would be fully aware of the talent in the province.

@Kirwan said in Counties v Auckland: @Chris said in Counties v Auckland: Reiko had a shocker he dropped a heap of passes and really made no impact. Clarke on the other hand looked a real handfull for the defense. To be fair, he was getting passes bouncing at his feet and hitting his shoulder. He didn't play well, but there was chaos around him. More than enough talent in this team to be performing better than this, have to look at the coaches. All of them. That’s fair but looks like Reiko’s confidence is gone.

@SouthernMann said in Otago v Counties: @frugby said in Otago v Counties: I personally thought Millar was a bit better today, but his limitations are clear. I have seen far worse 10s for Otago than him though! He is a fine provincial level 10. As long as fans know that is his level. He is the standard 10 we have had come and go out of the Otago set up. Hayden Parker, Fletcher Smith, Chris Noakes, Matt Berquist and Cam Millar. All have similarities. Better than experiments like Vili Koroi and imports like Finn Strawbridge though. Josh Ioane at his best was better than them all. Yep. Hence why Ioane played an All Blacks test - easy to forget how good he could be...

@Dan54 said in Hawkes Bay v Counties: @Mauss I will be interested to see if Coles gets a bit of time for Hawke Eyes too, he another kid who doesn't look bad. I think Will Cole is an excellent young 10, and I agree, I'd like to see him get an opportunity. But game time will be hard to come by at the Magpies, with Godfrey and McClutchie ahead of him. But he's a genuine first five, so it would be good to see him being developed.

@DurryMexted said in Wellington vs Counties (QF 1): @Canes4life i missed this game due to travel, how much time did Love play at 10? How he look? He played about 5-10 mins right at the end of the game. I reckon he would go well at 10 if he wanted to play there, definitely has all the skills, just needs time in that position.

@ploughboy said in Counties v Waikato: he was at chiefs this year had a game at tighthead. agree though looked good at loose head .hope they keep him I have noticed that he has been playing LH for CM. The Chiefs will need to make a decision on which side Kaivelata focuses on in SR. LH might be the option with Proffit in his 30s.
