Ace Frehley, founding guitarist for KISS, dead at 74
Ace Frehley, the founding guitarist for the rock band KISS, has died at age 74.
They were a fun band and he was part of some really good 70s rock.
What I really liked about them was every single member had a turn at singing lead vocals. Decent guitarist and the makeup and stage presence made him a genuine rock icon.

I saw the original band back in 2000 when I lived in the US. It was the Farewell Tour.
Then saw them in NZ 15 years later (sans Ace and Peter). Gene and Paul are still milking the KISS cash-cow.
Gene Simmons has said he'd be happy for the Kiss "brand" to continue in a shape or form once all the original members are too old to perform ( or dead ).
I always thought that was pretty cool of him, especially coming from someone with an ego like his.

RIP big fella, 58 is too young!
Was always a pleasure seeing his smiling face about, the epitome of a gentle giant.

I don't recall her specifically, was very young, but do recall the shows. So this is sad. But 100? Great innings.
