Carter on the bench would allow a 6/2 split.

    @Tim
Bet 365 has the odds as follows:
    Ireland: $2.75
    NZ: $1.44
    Spread: 6.5 pts

Not a betting man, but I do recall having a wager on the 2016 Chicago game.

Went to work that Saturday morning, and saw the odds were something like 10 to 1 for the ABs.
    F'n ridiculous!
Thought it was a 50/50 call myself; the Irish had been on the improve for quite a while, and it looked like a classic trap game, especially with the stupid odds adding to the hubris.

I said to the boys, we should get on this, these odds makers need to be punished . . . nah nah nah . . .
I went, fuck it, i'm getting on.
It was quite an effort as I remember, not as easy as it is today.

It was all over before halftime.

Monday morning; went to work; and when they found out how much i'd collected . . . hmmm . . . boys were very dark, very pouri.
    But . . . I said . . . I fucking told you . . . BUT YOU DONT FUCKEN LISTEN!!!

Have not placed a bet on an AB game since.

Bet 365 has it pretty close to spot on this time IMHO.

To be fair you haven’t ever played against Ireland.

For safety reasons. If booboo played against them, they could have died!

@sparky where's Belly sparky? Let's not forget he has a 100% win rate against the Irish

    Is that relevant?

I mean I've never lost a game against Ireland.

I think it might be an even dumber metric than "total win percentage when this person was in the team".
"win percentage against a certain opposition when this person was in the team".
FFS. It's the sort of bullshit I'd expect from RugbyPass. But like a mentally-inept cancer, is spreading across The Fern.

Might as well if the other options are Ratima and Christie but I can’t see them trying it. Carter will probably start on the wing.

I think we should go in with settled team, similar to last test we played. Be a couple of changes , but not many. Let's face it this is Ireland's first test since 6Ns, we should be a bit more battle ready coming off our season.

Hopefully Finau is ready to step into lock if needed.

@MN5 I am sure Ardie is already looking forward to another opportunity of playing on the Wing.

Surely give the boys a run who rep against Aus...bar injuries...which is a concern of late.

Scott Robertson didn't give much away in yesterday's press conference.

He expects Ireland to be strong and doesn't expect them to be rusty.

The aim is to win 4 from 4 and achieve a Grand Slam.

Jordie Barrett is looking forward to the game. A strong indiction that he's starting.
