Feeling pretty mellow these days. This is still, without question, an absolute masterpiece in chill out music for the โgrungeโ generation.
Over the years Iโve mused about which guitarist Iโd most like to emulate as I hack away on my SG. Young, Wylde, Gilmour, Slash have all had their moments in the sun. Right now though itโs Cantrell. Dead set genius.

The harmonies that AIC came up with were magnificent. In saying that of their ilk I still reckon another couple of dead singers in Scott Weiland and Chris Cornell did it EVEN better. God damn the 90s was absolutely the best era for rock music. Ever.
Iโve also been strumming the acoustic a bit lately, my go to is Dean DeLeo of STP. Him and his brother come up with some beautiful jazzy chords which somehow work in a grunge genre. Geniuses the pair of them.

@MN5 That's a great version. But there are many great versions of his songs.
Yeah I think I could happily go my whole life never hearing Freebird or Sweet Home Alabama again but Skynyrd definitely shine in their lesser known songs.
Good old Southern Rock.
I prefer Cales versions of his songs than Claptons because with a few exceptions here and there EC became a massive bore from about 1970 onwards.

Well, I really liked it. I like those types of talky movies and I thought the switching focus was a good way to tell the story. The only storyline I felt completely out of place was:
The FEMA worker, but I guess they were using her to show the nuclear bunker at the end.On the ending:
I kind of guessed that would be the ending as it progressed, so it didn't jar as much with me as I assume it does with others.I'd even add all the points that @MN5 knocked off and in the context of it including Rebecca Ferguson, put it up to 4 out 5.
So the.......
same story three times ? if watching people on a zoom call from different perspectives with absolutely no clear ending floats your boat then yeah, the movie was amazing
I thought it was complete shit, interested in the views of others !
Each to their own, I think a lot of the music you like is shit, and that's before we get into the memes.

What ????? Like who ?????
My music taste is awesome
Every single one of my memes are hit and miss Iโll give you that

In the 90s.Iโll always draw the line at Fleetwood Mac, Eagles and Six 60. Way too edgy and exciting for me
