@booboo he got cut off by the dumb trophy lift and I gave up, but went in hard on Ireland - no excuses about when the game was played, lack of line breaks, phases, flowing rugby. Anyone who has been paying attention knows that has gone though and they’re a nation in decline.

The attack lacks sharpness because BB receives the ball while standing still. DMac's arrival changed everything.

    This

DMac's punch and skillset made a big difference

Nothing beats a victory over a Irish side involving Sexton and now James Lowe.

At half time I was thinking this was the worst advertisement for rugby in a game that was only played in the States to get some recognition in the biggest overall sports market in the world.

Like, it wasn't vintage for the first 60, but the bench came on and made a big difference and we ran over the top of them in the end. It never felt like the Irish were ever gonna get away on us and sure enough, we kept it tight and then blitzed them in the end. They deserve some credit for that.

Like all our wins under this management, a B- performance, but the last 20 was very good.

We've been really good in bursts of 20mins all season.

    Lakai was non existent.

Disagree. Thought he was fine. Works hard. Consistent. Low error rate. Not the biggest player but he is powerful.

Ran harder than most. Which wasn't saying much in the first 40-60

Yeah, we have, but what was impressive about this last 20 was that it was the bench that came on and finished things off, similar to our glory days in the 2010s. Usually we start off with a hiss and a Roar and then fade as the game goes on, but today, we took a while to get into the game, but got stronger as the game went on.

Yup, he's needed out there. Someone in the loose has to do the dirty work.

    Job done

DeGroot, Carter and Clarke the best of the starters for me.

Dmac impact was noticeable and needed

    The scrum was rubbish.

I thought Lakai was the pick of the loose forwards.

Great to learn both that we won that and that the last 20 minutes were significantly better than what proceeded them.

Lots of work to do before Scotland next week.

Can I make a suggestion Sparky? Don’t tune in for the Scotland match. The ABs played better when you clocked off 🤣🤣🤣

Caleb Clarke said post-match that the squad put rugby aside for the week to "re-gather as a group after a long break"

Give me a break. This group is a circus.

BB simply doesn't commit the defence which amplifys the rushed defense tactic
