Is Kini lining up at fullback?, ive only just logged in.. good on Stacey Jones if going against webby ball

Not sure if it was injury enforced, I only turned on for the haka.

I think keeping McLean at centre and Kris on the wing would have been better though. CNK looks as punch drunk at centre as he does at fullback.

18-0 to Kiwis with 10m to go to halftime.

26 - 8 to Kiwis. Some iffy reffing going on. As I think @mariner4life would say the ref is kissing Tonga on the dick.

40-8 with 8 minutes to go. Take that Tonga.

    40-14 final score.

Cracking performance by the Kiwis, smashed the continually overrated Tongan pack and carved them up in the backs.

Kini was great at the back. All the pack were good, bringing Whyte and Clark on from the bench is a luxury, and Tapine seemed to just hunt out defenders for contact.

Brown was great again, took over the high kicks and the Tongans struggled to tackle him, scored two tries. McLean is a gem, awesome he chose NZ despite being born and bred in Oz. CNK actually scored a try.

No Tongans to single out. Barely knew fatso Taumalolo was out there after the first 10 minutes, and AFB was completely out of sorts.

Embarrassing NZ fan turn out, we appear to be club over country when it comes to league.

Just seeing the Eli Katoa pre game hit. Given he looked all at sea while playing I’m calling negligence and coaches and doctors should be investigated

That was horrific. We’ve all seen friendly fire but that was on another level. And then what followed was totally bizarre. Not sure who has the authority or will to investigate what has happened but it should be.

Proud of what we put out on the park today. That first half was as dominant as I’ve seen for a while. Totally shut them out with solid and disciplined defence and then our attack exposed their soft edge defence.

Versace on the floor, nah, Versace out the door….

That was a major under achievement by Tonga.
Kristian Woolf may have too much on his plate.
Might be time to give someone else a shot at it.

Attack looked a lot better with Kini at the back.

We were great across the park.
We have some really fast, exciting young backs who weren’t afraid to throw it around.
    Great to watch.

Just watching the game right now. The Kiwis are really tough. Strong forwards, young quick backs, high skills all over the park
