We've had the "Losing Aura" article, any sign of "Haka Must be Banned" story?

Apparently England have an identity and the All Blacks don't.

Aura's gone. Now our bloody identity has gone missing too.....

There's actually a pretty cool interview with Tana on how Kapa O Pango came into being.

@Bones It reminds me of the bird-watching guy's infamous article before the 2004 Paris rampage.

Hopefully it will have the same effect.

Nothing makes me want Razor to succeed more than a bunch of English piston wristed gibbons who write for newspapers being snotty about him.

TSF is essentially an island of rugby reason in a sea of idiots

Or the very definition of groupthink::
"a psychological phenomenon where the desire for harmony and conformity in a group leads to irrational or dysfunctional decision-making outcomes."

That falls down on TSF with the "harmony and conformity" bit though. "You can all go fuck yourselves because I disagree" tends to hold more sway around here.

    Diversity rules on the Fern!

@Victor-Meldrew to be fair, I think we do lack a clear style of play or identity right now, and posted about it a couple of weeks, so not just NZ media getting bites off the fern....

The vast majority of posters are polish chicks, so generalized opinions are somewhat biased in that that direction.

Some Polish chicks also seem to confuse their opinions with facts...

Which makes "can I push your stool in" even more of a "do not say this in a gay bar" thing.

One of those inappropriate jokes (that term used very loosely) that you just can't unhear.

We need this rugby match to start this thread is really diverging.

The best life tips I get from reading the Fern are always the unexpected ones. That reminds me, who was the French Premier who allegedly said 1/4th of all Anglo-Saxon men are gay? Ah yes, Édith Cresson.

    Jun 17, 1991  /  World & Nation

25% of Anglo-Saxon Men Gay, French Premier Reportedly Says

25% of Anglo-Saxon Men Gay, French Premier Reportedly Says

French Prime Minister Edith Cresson was at the center of a political and journalistic furor Monday over an interview in which she was quoted as saying that 25% of Anglo-Saxon males are homosexual.

Might be worth a cheeky sign at the match...

Most of them wanted Mackenzie promoted to start as a result. Same reason Beauden and Ardie have been shoehorned into the starting 15, unbalancing it for years when they were the two best bench/impact players in the world.

When you look at how Rassie has treated his players as opposed to our kid gloves. It's night and day.

Hooked a prop at 30 mins last week.
    Hooked Kolisi at half time.
    Hooked Etzebeth.
Hooked Libbock in first half of RWC semi.

And none of them drop their lip.

The idea of Ardie or Beaudy riding the pine for even 30 minutes is sacrilege for the suits in NZ Rugby.

What I really have cognitive dissonance with is not why they rate these two so highly but why they rate the alternatives and possible future replacements so lowly by comparison.

Added to that I suspect Ardie has had a heavy season and needs a rest or at least some time on the bench.

Close, but should make a special time for @Dodge most half backs are a better fit for the “C U next Tuesday” category 😉
