If it had been McKenzie who missed a simple penalty kick for touch he would have been pulled.

@Canes4life Yeah sickening isn't it. Not finding touch at this level shouls see players banished to the shadowrealm. But hey it's a Barrett.

The England comeback was as expected. It's been a common theme under Razor. We just can't pull away from teams after getting a good lead.

    Well ...

Score flatters England. But fuck we don't mind balling up opportunities do we?

They pinned us in our own half and walked away with points. Sounds like good rugby to me.

I didn't say they didn't take some good options. But my gut feel of Mex's "ebb and flow of psychic energy" is that NZ should be up by a try.

Agree, could even be more, we were dominating them. Those fucked up kicks from BB were so costly. Also, the drop goal is a pretty low percentage option, good on him for nailing them but I won't be unhappy if they keep trying that with go forward ball.

We can take a lot from that half, just need DMac on ASAP

Barrett has been shite, but don’t let it take away from a very strong first half performance otherwise. Tupaea outstanding.

Don't disagree but Barrett only missed one, Roigard fluffed the other.

Speaks of a team culture than lacks ruthlessness. The very characteristic we were once so renowned for.

Not that the NZ Rugby media ever call Robertson and his pals out for it.

Neither side has handled the high ball well at all. They way its currently reffed it massively favours the attacking side

NZ were blowing hard at the end of that half. Pace has been very high. I’d be surprised if Barrett didn’t get some choice words from the forwards for those 2 missed kicks as they would have gained territory and a breather!

And Roigard did a Jordan and didn’t find his free team mate on his outside

Honestly, it feels like England have weathered the storm and have the better strategy. I hope I'm wrong.

Carve up the refs pocket. Will it be a yellow or red is the only question.

England don’t have a better strategy. Their lineout is shit, their defence is narrow, they’re loosing at the contact area. Nothing about what England is doing is good. They’re being allowed to play to an incredibly limited game plan by the fact the ABs can’t take advantage of field position and constantly out in shit kicks
