Easy A. A chic flick that's good for the guys too. It's a story about a high school girl who pretends to be a slapper. Farkin funny and won't have you rolling your eyes.

Yeah it's based around that story. There's some good lines in there.

Robing Hood surprised me! I was expecting him to be kicking butt and taking names. But the whole movie was him journey's home after the war.

127 Hours: a very good survival story about Aron Ralston, the guy who had to cut off his own arm or else die under a rock that trapped him in a canyon. The arm cutting scene is pretty gruesome but not over the top. Riveting and inspirational stuff. 8/10.

    Resident Evil - Afterlife, meh.
Not sure why they keep making these sequels, the story seemed to me to have died out after the 2nd one.
5.5/10
Zombieland, being meaning to watch this for a while now, very enjoyable. Nice spin on the Zombie genre.
Very funny at times, especially the Bill Murray cameo later in the movie.
Due Date... I laughed, I was angry, I was sorry for the Galotsofletters guy, then I wanted to punch him a lot, then I laughed... I dunno. Ending was weak. 7/10.
Finally saw Inception. Brilliant. Loved it, pretty original, but lots of it seems ripped off from the Matrix. Still real good watching though. Will have to watch again to make sure i got everything.

Are you a rugby mad sheldon or something (:

Recently flew long haul and caught a few newish films which were unfortunately modified by the fun police on Emirates:

Expendables: Not as good as I expected by ok and better than most new action films. Dolph Lundgren is a really shit actor.
Predators: Surprisingly ok. Adrian Brody was annoying as hell and Laurence Fishborne was surprising portly for a man stuck on an alien planet with no supplies but it was still good entertainment.
The Other Guys: Ok. Cameo by the Rock and Samuel L Jackson the best part.
Social Network: Pretty good. Hope Zuckerberg isnt as farked up as he is portrayed in the film.
Toy Story 3: Excellent
Shrek 4: Cråp. Good that its the last one.
Transformers 2: I thought the first film was cråp but this one took it to a new level. As someone who was massive transformers fan as kid these films make me want to kneecap Michael Bay.

I realise that this thread is about movies but have to say that Boardwalk Empire is a terrific series. great stuff.

I can't imagine "The Expendables" changed for a flight. Did they take the cool fatalities out? Like right at the start where Lundgren blows that guy in half?

Transformers 2 was so, so bad. I loved the first one, but the second was so bad. I fear for the third.

Clearly I'll have to get the nonflight version. None of that stuff was shown and the final fight between Couture and Austin just stopped. Didnt even know the outcome until they showed Couture partying at the end. This was the first time I'd flown Emirates and got the impression that they are much more heavy handed on the editing that other airlines I've flown.

I wish with Transformers that they used all that money and made a really good cartoon with the original characters.
Get him to the Greek: Funny though the humour comes more from Jonah Hill and Sean "P Diddy" Combs then Russell Brand.
Predators: I enjoyed it just like I do with most Predator films. The big Predators vs small Predators is obviously the next plot in the franchise.
Looks like there is a new rugby movie about to come out.

Got this email this morning:
December 2010
Dear Rugby Supporter: The United States Rugby Football Foundation invites you to explore the latest news from the USRFF, the Foundation for the Rugby Community.
USRFF Benefits from New Rugby Movie "Play on"

There's a new rugby movie coming out on Friday, December 17th called "Play On" that the USRFF encourages you to watch. Not only is it an entertaining movie, but a percentage of the proceeds from all views of the movie emanating from the USRFF will be donated back to the Rugby Foundation.
The movie was written by former Eagles Sevens captain Al Dekin and Santa Monica and KC Blues prop Dave Story, who also directed the film. The storyline traces the path of redemption for a failed Scottish rugby star, Keirs Kilgore, who leaves his country and the shadow of his amateur era rugby legend father, to seek fame and fortune as a football player in America.

After his failed attempt at football leaves him penniless and homeless, he finds redemption through an unlikely motley crew of social weekend rugby warriors who take him in. While playing at the lowest level of rugby he finds the true meaning of teamwork, loyalty and courage. This journey takes him back to his homeland where he once again has to choose between his ideals or those of his father.
The film will have a worldwide online release on December 17, 2010 and can be viewed at www.playonthemovie.com. The USRFF will send out another release on Friday with the link where your viewership will benefit the Rugby Foundation. While the release of the film is still a couple of days away, you can become a fan of the Play On the Rugby Movie Facebook page to stay updated on launch date and upcoming promotions.
Everyone who purchases a screening of Play On will be automatically entered to win a free trip for two to New Zealand , including travel provided by The Rugby Travel Company and accommodation, including a ticket to each of the semi-final matches. See official rules http://www.playonthemovie.com/blog/win-a-trip-to-new-zealand/.
Had to stop it after one minute, that looks terrible! Low budget, cliche, predictable. He's hitchhiking in a kilt FFS. I almost wondered if it was a piss take, but it sadly appears not.
