Anyway. Drive the living dead to hospital and stay there. Much more fun.
After tonite's debacle, it might be wise.
Does the broadcaster not have an app so you can watch on your phone there?

I'll be driving back for the first 10 mins of the game. Will watch delayed until 1/2 time.

Amen to this post bro. Same thing happens with me when I stop at about 3-4 beers of an evening these days.

@Nepia I think I have watched 1 whole game this year, one of the French tests, all the home series at best I watched half, have not watched anythign other than highlights of EOYT or SA/Arg games for several years now....but yeah, younger me would be up middle of the night, at mates houses or pubs...now, it makes me sad I dont really care, I mean I got up yesterday, checked into socal media to see the score, made a coffee and went to golf.

You all suck - polluting the Happiess Scale thread with depressing stories of your lack of commitment to the team.
I for one was up at 2am in Sydney for the England game, wearing my AB's jumper, with hot chocolates made for my 2 lads. Cheese on toast was made at HT ((c) @Smudge ), and memories were made. Yeah we sucked, and right now we suck hard, but that's what makes the good years so great.
Now give yourselves a collective upppercut and fuck off out of my thread.

Family vacation to Japan going on right now, and here for the next week and a bit. The usual tourist things in the Tokyo-Osaka-Kyoto triangle.
Lot of stress organising due mostly to Mrs TA's Relentless Pursuit of Perfection, and an inability to just roll with whatever comes.
Anyway we've been in Tokyo a few days and it's fucking awesome. Cheap food, cheap piss, and a great public transport system, easily navigable by Google maps.
Miss TA has been a bit of a stressor with her desire to make everything about buying gifts for her baseball-obsessed boyfriend, it must be said.
but mostly a distraction once we're all foot sore and wearyThe best bit besides the awesome food and attractions : on a couple of nights The Boy (now 21) and I have been out later than the females, catching a few beers at local spots in Shinjuku and just exploring in general.
It's been great to just hang out together as men, enjoying the moment. After a shit few years on the home front, this is what I'm after.
Cup full.
P.S. fucking nailed a rendition of "Unchained Melody" at Shinjuku Ale Karaoke on the 2nd floor the other night.

Let me know if you need any help booking anything!

What's notable in Shimokita?
the "Brooklyn" of Tokyo.
Cool thrift shops, good coffee, counter culture, craft beer bars. Lovely ramen bars too.
