@nonpartizan That's cool. I was a season ticket-holder during the Bill Self years at Illinois so still try to check out their scores.
That's awesome, would've been around the time of Deron Williams?

Yes. Brian Cook and Frank Williams were the main guys.

Peja Stoijakovic son is having a solid start to the season at Illinois. So hard to keep up with player movements in this era of college basketball - I assumed he had found a home at Cal but was apparently recruited as they see him as a missing piece.
Got a better all round game than his pops, One the first to bring that deep range too. Him and Hedo were awesome together.

If you haven’t watched him, Carlos Boozer’s boy will be some player one day. What I like is that unlike say someone like Zion who was an out there sort of guy with all the flair and big dunks from his junior year in High School “all about that mix tape”. Boozer has both the athletic game but also a meat and potato’s game. Has good IQ too.

Speaking of hoopers, check out Derrick Queen. That is all around polished player. If he's consistent should be a candidate for ROY.

I was pretty surprised that he dropped to 13 in the draft given his size and some of the skills he had shown at Montverde and then in college last year.
12 and 6 is okay, but given how bad the Pelicans are, he probably has to be averaging 20 to win ROY being on that team!
Joker had some good stuff to say about him post their last game against the Pels.

Yes, he's averaged 22/8 the last three games. Can score in a lot of different ways, nice touch, very skillful big man.

Luka goes off on the Clips for 43. Nico Harrison will never get another GM job in the NBA

Le Bron is in a position of luxury that he's never been in before. Coming back from a long injury period, he only played 33 minutes vs Dallas for 13 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds. He is taking his time getting back into game shape, not having to carry the team on his shoulders
-
He’s in really great shape and his IQ on both ends is a point of difference for this Rockets team. Sengun is an above average offensive rebounder and Capela now on the roster has been a top 5 rebounder in the past. Then Amen is a top guard rebounder. Jabari has improved his overall physicality.
Adams is also a leader that the younger guys seem to respond to.

I'm pleased to see a team going big and getting results, they are fun team to watch too.

Mavs upset Nuggets.
Thing I kike about Flagg is his herky jerky style of movement. He doesn't affect a cool style of play he's just limbs all over the place.

He’s super active - and way longer than o realised he was
Nuggs lost Murray for all of the 4th and they got run over. Now on a 4 game road trip
-
Yes, he is awesome. Love how chaotic he can be. Against the Clippers he had a few finishes that were Ginobili-esque in that he was just barreling to the hoop, off balance and finished with the left hand. An uncanny resemblance if I am honest.

Another 20+ pt outing from Mr Flagg, Mavs beat Heat. Doesn't even turn 19 until a few weeks, he is fast becoming my favourite player to watch.
