    Curious.

Not sure if this refers to Test or opening tour matches (will re-read), was a bit ambiguous.

Pretty shit by Sautner to go public.

The Auckland test. It says so in the first paragraph.

@Bovidae said in British & Irish Lions Women’s Tour 2027:

The Auckland test. It says so in the first paragraph.

Can't cut and paste but para 7 says " tour opener".

Think there's a bit of cross purposing or misunderstanding.

@booboo I think it means the 1st test is the first game Auckland would host on the tour, but the article could have been clearer.

I thought there would be more games. Going north to south.

September 11: First Test v Black Ferns, Auckland
September 14: v Invitational XV, Hamilton
September 18: Second Test v Black Ferns, Wellington
September 25: Third Test v Black Ferns, Christchurch

@Bovidae probably a very astute decision as the expected strength of the tourists would mean other matches would be absolute beltings.

@antipodean Yeah, I suppose they wouldn't want for it to be a repeat of the BIL tour to Aust where you are recycling players for different teams. I was only thinking another 1-2 games.
