Did Conway want to be there? Absolute nothing shot, just threw the bat out there with soft hands. Only thing that could have happened was an edge.

Agree on the nothing shot, but there was certainly late swing. Didn't know where his stumps were, thought he had to play, played away from his body with no feet movement, ball swung even further outside off, voila.

These inexperienced Windies bowlers are making the BCs fight. Latham in particular. 73/1

Gotta feel for Shields, he's a PE teacher, getting KW as his first wicket woulda been quite the yarn to tell the kids !

you may not have paid much attention to the Windies v Aus series earlier this year, but despite a 0-3 scoreline, the Windian bowlers were all over Aus
    Seales took 13 wickets @ 22
we're fucking lucky the Joseph boys aren't there.

Yikes, Latham gone too. Scratchy innings comes to an end. Windies persistence pays off and Greaves gets another.

Young in to join Ravindra. 95-3. Things very even at the moment.

Fuck sakes, we were going nicely last time I checked the score.

Come back to see we lost 4/24 or something fucking ridiculous.

Going to need our lower order to do a lot of wagging

The BCs do bat pretty deep.

Henry is at home and will come out firing, it might just be a low scoring test.

Yeah will be interesting to see how our bowlers go.

On paper this is an awful West Indies batting lineup - no one averages over 30, only one averaging over 26. A few of those guys are very early career and no idea no recent form so that might be misleading, but if we can somehow scrape out another 60-70 runs I think we'll be competitive.

@Cyclops I'm pleased we've got Matt Henry, because if everyone is fit, I'm not sure any of the rest of the attack makes the team.

Jamieson, O'Rourke and Santner and just maybe Sears, but probably Mitch and Phillips and bowler light.

Why are the Windies trying to run Greaves into the ground? He's clearly limping. Wags basically saying they need a Wags. Love Wags ♥

Will they play a bit longer tonight to make up for the time lost to rain?

Yeah so based on that and provided Henry fires this could already be an ok score.

The onus is on the new bowlers to support him.

Big opportunity for Duffy who has been impressive in the short forms and could grab a place with a good performance across this series.

Things looking a bit easier at the moment. Hopefully the Windies bowlers running out of steam rather than the pitch. Still a few tricky deliveries from time to time.
