Into the last over now. This has been a pretty rough session for us. 3 dropped catches, an umpires call gone against us plus a lot of playing and missing.

Hopefully the catching improves next session. We've kept things tight thought so the two wickets we have got are probably enough for us to have shaded the session but game is still wide open.

I never thought I'd see the day that former pie afficianado Matt Henry ended up with a better bowling average than Boult, Wags and Southee......but here we are.

He's at his home ground, time to have a good lunch, come out firing and get it even better.

Make the fielders stay out all lunchtime for catching practice

Henry gets Chase for a duck. Good catch from Latham. Windies 106/4.

Bang, bang Hope and Chase go in quick succession. Likely to happen with this Windies line-up, but we certainly needed it.

Now we need Chanders Jr. quite quickly, as well.

Roston Chase is a passable 7 or a really good 8. Badly miscast at 5. Greaves the same.

Comment on cricinfo ( probably stolen from @virgil )

"Is this live? Fees like a match from yesteryear, whereby Chanderpaul stands alone."

120/5 at tea. Good session for us, Windies weak middle order exposed. Good opportunity to get a decent first innings lead with a good final session. This partnership is the key. Imlach the last guy who will really be able to offer resistance.

Chanderpaul finally gets to 50 off 165. Gutsy innings.

Conway finally takes a catch and an excellent one at that. Chanderpaul gone bowled Foulkes.

Conway holds onto the hardest of the three to finally get arid of him. I believe the drops were 5, 24 and now out for 52. So not that many runs really.

Windies tail looks pretty weak if Roach is batting 8. Time to clean them up Henry !

What is it with Wellington players dropping catches? 😉

    Mitchell would have caught that.

    FFS!

That's going to be a goober for Mitch Jr!

The Channel 9 commentators from the 80s would have an absolute field day on our catching efforts!

I did not know they had done that at the old Lancaster Park site. I like it.
