Be nice to see Foulkes grab a few runs here.

Young on borrowed time? Just hasn’t grabbed his chances well enough IMO.

Yeah pretty annoying. I was hoping for a cheeky not out at the very least.

Mitchell will walk back in obviously, Young AND Conway aren't exactly being that compelling overall though. One would imagine one of them will struggle to get in.

He’s 33 now, had 22 tests and an average just under 33.

Time to move on from his as the reserve batter.
Theres got to be a young fulla worth bringing in, surely?

@Gunner Rhys Mariu - has the record (averaging 56 in FC cricket). Caveat that I haven't actually seen him bat!

    Further to the Young thing.

Is Mitchell back for Wellington ? If so that to me is a straight swap with Conway probably the lucky one given 0,37 two dropped catches ( and one well taken one ) isn't exactly having a great match.

I'd think Mitch Jr is pretty close if he can field at first slip.

Young and Conway both scored 37 in this test. But, it will surely be Young who sits out if Mitch Jr comes back in.

Yeah Conway would be safe based on the need for an opener ( although Young has opened too of course )

both these guys in a very similar predicament, Conway also has the history of getting big scores which Young unfortunately hasn't managed.

With them being a bowler down I wonder if Ravindra or even KW will turn the arm over ? hopefully Henry, Foulkes and Duffy don't make it an issue.....

I'd be aiming to set 550 in 5.5 sessions.

Ravindra definitely unless we run through them.

I'd be very surprised to see Kane - I think he's probably retired from bowling to preserve his longevity.

What’s that now, 3 or 4 strangled down the leg side in this game.

Bracewell gone caught behind off Roach. Hell of a catch !

Henry hits a six then caught behind ( DRS review ) very next ball. Roach with his 290th test wicket.

They're probably also thinking about how many overs they want to bowl prior to lunch with the new ball.

Four each from Henry, Foulkes and Duffy? Probably no more than that to get two goes with the new ball.

Yep, nice to see some genuine emotion there, he was thrilled.

One of his generations better pace bowlers. 5th on their all time list !

Glenn Phillips in as a substitute fielder. Can't think of anyone better.

Chanderpaul looks a candidate for lbw - if Foulkes can get it very full and swinging.

As a former opening batsmen and wicket keeper, I hate to think how sore Latham is going to be after this test.

Alec Stewart may have been the last guy to open, captain and keep all in the same test ?

Michael Bracewell with the break through !!!!!! Windies 55/3. Only 476 to get so way too premature to start celebrating just yet.

So Nathan Smith not at the ground and sounds like Henry is playing through a niggle too. Are we going to run out of bowlers here?
