Back to earth for the AB7s. First time I've seen GB play and I see that Kiwi Josh Radcliffe is in their squad. Google says he is Scottish qualified. A former club mate of Tocker's, and both were in the NZ Universities team earlier in the year.

@Bovidae have’nt seen any of the games from overnight but i suspected , without Rob Rush,Molia and Ware that it would be a tough as and the Blitz Boks at home are always tough
I wonder how far away Manson and Solo from returning from injury ?
Did Tocker get any game time .?

@Steven-Harris Yes, both Tocker and Clarke got game time. Gregory too. He scored the late try against SA.

They lacked the defensive effort that was evident in Dubai. The worst game was against Fiji, which decided who progressed to the SF.

Aust finished bottom of their pool. The AB7s play them in the 5th-8th playoffs.

The AB7s beat Aust 28-21, surviving with 6 players at the end. Better counter-rucking to create some turnovers and tries.

A tough 19-7 win for the BF7s over France in their SF.

The AB7s will play GB for 5th/6th.

Tocker looks a bit of a beast. Good to see some new players coming through. I've been watching Lasaqa in the highlights packages but yet to see him in any open space.

@KiwiPie I haven't watched every game but Lasaqa has often been inaccurate with his passing and at the breakdown. Maybe trying too hard. He appears to be used as a playmaker than out wide so is not getting those opportunities in space.

Now we have a nearly 2 month break until Singapore.
