What an interesting fella Flea is, sounds like an absolute legend and I don't just mean his bass playing. His reverence and enthusiasm for all the music that influences him is really endearing.

The Chillis haven't released anything really good in over 20 years ( barely even "good" if I'm being honest ) but their legacy was well and truly secured from all their early stuff. Blood Sugar Sex Magic is in my top ten albums of all time, Mothers Milk and One Hot Minute are sensational and the three before that are great fun to thrash too.

Can't recommend this interview enough.
