I wouldnt usually be a darts fan (is it really a sport) but this’ll be the second year running I follow littler.

I reckon it is a sport, maybe only just, but still a sport.

They are still doing something physical and need absolutely amazing hand eye coordination but in saying that I wouldn’t back many darts players to excel in clash of the codes type shows….

Get the greatest decathlete on earth to throw a nine dart game and then we’ll talk

Gerwyn Price could be my new sporting hero.

Playing pro Rugby and League and having a pro boxing bout scheduled ( unfortunately cancelled ) is very SBW so far but this guy has since become one of the best darts players in the world ! Knocked out in the quarters in Manchester but still…….

    That’s a pretty cool resume

Luke the Nuke's been at it again, winning the World Matchplay.

Luke "the Nuke" Littler must be firm favourite now for the 2026 World Darts Title. He won 5-0 yesterday and is through to the semis. No one else from the top eight in the world rankings is through to the final 4 this time.

    Wow!

Another night of epic darts. Great to see a sport not screwing itself up with Video Assistant Refs.

Luke Littler came from one set down to beat Ryan Seale 6-1, throwing a 105 average. The 18 year old reaches his third world final in a row.

Then Dutchman Van Veen overcame the Scottish former world champion Gary Anderson 6-3 with both of them averaging just shy of 103.

On paper Luke Littler is the favourite for tonight's final. But if Van Veen can match his scores and put him under pressure to hit doubles, it could be very close.

The Alexandra Palace will be the hottest ticket in London tonight with 3500 fans screaming their hearts out. Given the phenomenal interest in the Darts at the moment, I could see future World Finals taking place at the Royal Albert Hall or the O2 arena.

@MajorPom It looked highly competitive between the two youngsters at 1-1, then Luke Littler found an extra gear.

    A brutal demonstration of genius.

Luke Littler has thrown 14 180s to Gian van Veen's eight. This has been close to perfection at times from the Nuke.

14 more than I've ever thrown in my life and I've been playing darts since before he was born.

I think he's a slightly better player than I am.

A 147 check out by the lad from Warrington to win.

Back to Back World Titles for Luke Littler. The 18 year old is some talent.

Getting it on with his dad was an interesting way to celebrate. Great way to garner interest in the sport.
