Was just thinking in a world where we're less tolerant of entertainment which relies on cruelty to animals how is it that some rodeo events still exist.

I understand that the horse reacts and kicks out because of pain - i used to think it was to get the rider off.

THinking about canefans humourous quip, I'm left wondering whats the point of putting an animal through that stress just for some fuckwit to show off how clever he is at holding on tight.

I hate activities that cause needless pain to unwitting, unwilling and practucally helpless animals (and people)
