On paper, the Seahawks should demolish this Pats team. But it's the superbowl, everyone is tense and so I suspect it will be a close one.

With the pats having had probably the easiest run to the superbowl I've ever seen it's tempting to say that the Seahawks will flatten them. But superbowl winners almost always have to have some luck along the way, so maybe that's a sign in the pats favour.

If the Seahawks can get up early (especially if it's easy points off a fumble or int, getting into Mayo's head) then I think they'll disappear into the sunset and blow the Pats off the park. If the pats can keep it tight then there crazy season will produce a miracle for them - either a circus catch on a 50/50 ball, or some ridiculous Seahawks blunder.

    @Cyclops
Yeah, close or a Hawks blow out, probably about 50/50.
Not guna be a Pats blow out.

F'n hell, Vrabel isn't even meant to be the Pats coach.
He's meant to be coaching the Titans!
Some silly moo didn't like him, and flicked him . . . very, very silly.

Belichik didn't make the HOF first up!
Puts a bit of focus on the selection committee.
Made the SB 12 times (8 wins).
A couple of cheating scandals, but neither of much consequence, although they were entertaining at the time.

Probably one voter wanted to be hero and not make it unanimous; turned out a few others were maybe thinking the same thing.
Media are most of the voters; he never gave them much . . . except maybe the shits . . . which I kinda liked (don't ask stoopid questions) . . . "On to Cincinnati"

If BB isn't first ballot, then no one, including Brady, should ever be

I thought it was weird he was on the ballot in the first place since he's still coaching.

Under . 500 when his QB isn't Brady is the biggest black mark but yeah this is mostly because he's a dick and people don't like him.

I think spygate is a big deal and not really sure how that's meant to be taken into account for this kind of thing. On the one hand, it should probably be handled by the league declaring him ineligible as part of the punishment (which they choose not to). On the other hand, maybe some of the voters thought that that was appropriate and have decided to never vote for him?

BB being kept out of the hall will delegitimise the whole thing. That's worse than Bonds not being in baseball's

Nah, the game is bigger than that. It'll be a mild drama than everyone gets over. (And I suspect he'll make it in next year, won't take many votes to change the result, and I'm sure there's a few people who have just done it to piss him off, which it clearly has).

I think it's totally on brand. The grumpiest coach gets one last opportunity to be grumpy.

I think this will have an affect on the Hall of Fame.
The Yanks take the football HOF real serious.
No one has came out and said they didn't vote for him yet.

Zero affect on the game as a whole.

Heard that Eli Manning missed out again too.
