How much 7s has he played? Looks uncomfortable so far

Probably not. There is no provincial sevens tournament now. Manson was in the NZ Dev team that went to to Fiji a few weeks back.

I haven't seen a list of unavailable players, which is normally published when the touring squad is announced.

Got a bit lucky there. Poor discipline again.

The BF7s finish top of their pool with a dominant 55-7 win over France. Their second pool game was a much tougher 19-12 win over Canada.

He did score a nice length of the field try vs Aussie after the hooter. Perhaps that will build some confidence

A much better performance from the AB7s against Aust. I have been impressed with Rob Rush this season.

    SF games are:

    BF7s v USA - 7:30 pm
    AB7s v Fiji - 7:52 pm

@Bovidae that’s what happens when Eric makes both you and your brother go running even on Xmas day
I have got to eat some humble pie , when Rob Rush turned down a Chiefs wider training contract before the 2024 season I thought it was the wrong move but I’m glad to be proved wrong his improved fitness and physicality is an asset to the NZ 7s team atm

@Steven-Harris RR looked a little lost last year, and walks a fine line with his aggression in the tackle, but the team needs that sort of player.

Interesting to see if they can continue to improve and then make the jump to SR. There's always space for a couple of aggressive guys with big motors

That must be the 3rd of 4th time this season the AB 7s have had the ball in their own half after the hooter has gone - decided to play on and then conceded a try.

    Brainless.

Why the fuck didn't old mate give the ball on the inside to guarantee the try. Fucking greedy fluffybunny went on his own and cooked it .

The AB7s are so dumb. Cama needed to sub R Rush and Vaenuku too as they were passengers in the 2nd half.
