What a serious downgrade, the Blues should have thrown everything to keep Cotter. And maybe they did?

Yeah I find him leaving seriously bizzare. The dude literally won a title a few years ago and hasn't been there for that long.

It was always a short term commitment. He signed for two years initially and said that was enough time to win a championship. He was correct. When the Blues offered him an extension he only wanted one year

Fair enough, he'll have his reasons and like @darren has mentioned above, maybe he wants to coach on the international stage with Aussie.

Living the good life in Brisbane. Not surprising a 60+ bloke wants to live in Brizzy instead of Auckland

I assume that if Rennie doesn’t get the AB job, he’ll be in line for this role.

I thought the Blues were really high on Halangahu? Maybe they’ll promote him into the role?

Fozzie or Holland? That would be something.

Foster's team finished 10th out of 12 in Japan last year, and were the bottom team after the last round.

Holland seems pretty average as a head coach.

                                        Not enthusiastic about either.

I'd probably prefer an internal candidate, and trying to get Schmidt as an advisor/analyst for 2028.
