@Nepia The USA player threw the ball at him not Weber hitting it out of his hands

@Whites72 disagree completely. The USA guy goes to take a quick tap and Weber clearly and deliberately knocks the ball away halfway through the action. They even replayed it close-up.

Yellow card all day long. How anyone could see anything other than Webber interfering with a quick tap is beyond belief.

JUst skimming through the game now, James Lowe was in front of West for the 3rd try, albeit by smallest of margin, but still in front.

@Pepe restarts have been like that for years now though (remember the days when everyone had to be behind, the hookers foot had to be behind the line haha) whereas they are usually still hot on the man in front for kicking out of hand.

@taniwharugby Yep, same rule different interpretation or emphasis....
I can actually remember when we taught to throw a pass backwards at such an angle to allow for the forward momentum..... and yes... the ball was leather and made by Adidas..

Sounds like the reason my brother gave when he was 5 and he threw a brick at the neighbours kid, "I didn't do it, my arm did it"

I have only seen the highlights but I can see why the ABs are interested in DMac despite his size an occasional mistake. He has that ability to think and execute in traffic that the likes of CJ and NMS have.
That try to Hames was entirely set up by DMac as if he drew it on a blackboard beforehand

@ACT-Crusader Or what my old roommate said when I once came home to see one of my ps controllers was smashed "I was loosing a game of NHL and suddenly it dropped out of my hand and hit the wall" 😂

Only managed to catch the highlights in the video above. Looked like Akira Ioane tore them apart.
He reminds me a lot of an early Sione Lauaki. Both had bucket loads of natural talent and both sometimes fall/fell into the trap of standing still swatting guys away. Hopefully Akira can sort the top two inches out and utilise his talent better than Lauaki was able to. Very interested to see how he goes in next year Super rugby with the Blues hopefully being more than a team rebuilding like this year.

The Maoris should destroy that Munster team shorn of its Irish internationals. The Munster halves are a woeful combination. Pity Munster aren't remotely at full strength.

This looks like the type of game to discover what sort of playing Akira Ioane could be at Test level. It's nasty conditions and is already proving a combative game. The Maori need him to be at his abrasive best, getting over the gainline, building momentum, cherishing possession and not getting frazzled by a passionate opposition.

The Munster pack that's supposed to be destroyed hasn't got that particular memo so far. 5 - 0 to Munster after 15.
