    Anyone watching Atlanta? FX show, created by Donald Glover (from Community, rapper, writer etc).

    Really great show, hard to describe but it's a bit like Louie, bit like Master of None, with a bit of a sketch comedy vibe as well. About a rapper and his manager in Atlanta, but it's not hugely plot-driven.

    Well worth a watch.

    Oh by the way think spoilers are still broken for some (so it doesn't expand when clicked).

    Well, here's hoping the spoiler thingy works.

    I've managed to watch a few episodes now and so far it has deviated from the graphic novels quite a lot. As your screenrant link says though season one seems to be a whole load of background - perhaps they feel they need to do it like this with TV in a way they didn't in the novels. As a for instance

    :::

    Annville got obliterated very early on in the first novel

    :::

    Edit the bloody thing still doesn't work, so look away if you have to...

    Basically Annville got obliterated very early on in the first novel and was never really revisited.

    I'm quite hooked on Series two of 'The Missing' even though I didn't watch the first one.

    Can get confusing at the start with three different time periods being chopped between but the moment the lead guy from that Icelandic show 'Trapped' appeared i decided it was quality.

    @Crucial despite only being 8 eps long, S1 was about 4 eps too long IMO. started well, but lost a lot of momentum and just dragged

    Well I'm going to watch ep 5 of S2 tonight so we will see. You have kind of already worked things out but the characters are pretty good and you want to see how they get there.

    By the way S2 stars Keeley Hawes as the mum (was in Spooks for ages) and if you want to see her poking young and eminently fuckable look at the old video for The Mutton Birds - Come Around

    One typo and that sounds so much more lurid.

    Does anyone else watch hoarders? Its not a show I seek out but if its on I watch in a kind of horrified fascination at how fucked up these people are.

    It's tv bro, it doesn't have to be that real and have rules that common sense dictates 😉

    Ha yea that was my thought on the hooker character bossing the nerds with all the cameras and tracking data they have.

    I like the new chick though, tidy.

    Yeah I've seen it a few times, it's pretty sad. Normally kicked off by some traumatic event. One I saw recently a woman lost her husband, then I think one of her children, then another one of her children committed suicide. So hoarding was her was of trying to feel safe I guess, didn't want to let anything go.

    assume the Walking Dead folk are still watching?

    I love the way Jeffrey Dean Morgan is playing Negan, but I can see that storyline getting tiresome...

    You can see Rick is broken, and while part of him wants to retaliate, he cant see the point of it, right now at least and is towing the line...although handing over Michonnes gun was odd? Assume Daryl is also just biding his time too.

    Maybe it'll be the others stepping in to cover for Rick?? Neegan's right-hand man seems ripe for conversion to team Rick. Agree that it'll get old pretty quick with them just rolling over for Neegan and his lads. Or perhaps it'll be the various groups that tithe to Neegan getting together to put his ass down.

    yeah that's what one of them said about that other group in that big old house that they dealt too who were paying 'tax' to Negan, and then there is that King fulla who pay their tax with walker fed pigs, where Morgan and Carol are, although I think in terms of Geography, they must be 100km away sort of things...so probably hard to co-ordinate something.

    I expect we will see another main (but minor character buy it, which will likely be where Rick loses his shit and goes mental.

    Also was that the first time he mentioned Shane about being the dad?

    Yeah sometimes they have quite supportive freinds/family that have been trying to get through to them for years which must be soul destroying. My brother watched one episode and spent the rest of the evening listing his crap on trademe at $1 reserve .

    When Rick had the meeting with the Governor in the barn the Governor taunted him about it because Andrea had filled him in on the details. I quite like the revenge they eventually get on Negan , theres another fucked up unit waiting in the wings when they beat him too.

    Started S3 of The Fall with Gillian Anderson, 2 eps in and while not a lot has happened yet, is interesting enough as you are speculating what will happen...although I think something needs to happen soon.

    Watch The Grand Tour first show last night. Started off well. The opening sequence was worth watching, high production values etc.
    Clarkson and Co were never going to change from being parodies of themselves (after all it is playing to what people want) but for me it gets tiresome. Show had some top visuals but by fuck it was stretched out to fill time.
