The French played quite well in the second half, and made a lot of offloads which saw them running deep into the Australian defence. However, they failed to convert their occasions into points. But they still should have won this if their goalkickers had been efficient. They have put a lot of pressure on the Aussie scrum (the latter being unable to win a ball for the whole game) and their three quarters look very sharp.
It won't be an easy game if the All Blacks take it with a slice of complacency.

Wouldn't mind seeing him on bench. Also Read is carrying an injury -- I think Irish may have targeted running at him because he missed quite a few tackles and I don't recall any big hits such as in early stages of RWC final. So would like to see Luatua get some game time at 8.
On tackling in general, we could do with Kaino passing on some tips. He often performs a type of grabbing tackle/wrestle which when it works carries the lucky recipient back five yards. But don't remember him hitting above the shoulder much if at all.

Malakai has been found guilty and a 1 match ban...I expect nothing short of hang, drawn and quartered will please the Irish though

@pakman I'd like to see Luatua given a shot at 6 if Kaino isn't fit or off the bench in the Squire impact role just to see how he would perform in such a position.

I think that is the worst AB jumper of all time ,

I actually didnt think the Grey jumper was that bad until after the game , before I was ok with it ,

Am i allowed to admit I actually brought one ? ( months before the WC when they were first released )

Dont think i ever wore it again .
