@NTA been a fair few years since I saw that movie, is it about 15 hours long like all his others around that time too?
Yeah close to that. 2.5 hours or something for the Netflix version? Had to watch it in three sittings.

Watched Deadpool again last night. And was happy to see it held up on the 2nd viewing, and wasn't just entertaining due to being different the first time. Still funny, the violence is still awesome. Loved it.
I saw it for the first time the other night. Outrageous awesomeness is probably the best way I can describe it. Dealpool's girlfriend is outrageously hot as well.
Morena Baccarin, she was Brody's wife in Homeland too
That show lost all credibility for me when she stopped being topless in it.

The Postman
Old Kevin Costner flick on Netflix, based on a book (really a trilogy of novellas) by David Brin.
I have read Brin's book Earth (http://www.davidbrin.com/earth.html) and its pretty good, and very prescient, given it was released in 1990.
The movie was released in that period of Costner being in blockbusters that were kind of shit, so I wasn't expecting much.
You could see the bare bones of Brin's writing in there, but it was let down by trying to cram too much into the movie. The plot was actually not bad, but some average editing and a lack of flow probably let it down.
Olivia Williams gets the girls out, and is in top shape during that shoot being about 29 or 30.
2.5 out of 5 pony express riders.
I remember the book as being ok with a bit of a crap ending, never seen the movie though

@jegga so, 25 seconds in to Season 1 Episode 1?
Pretty much. Excellent recall on your part, ever sent your cv to mr skin?
-
@mariner4life can you imagine any set of circumstances that would make you leave her for Claire Danes?
-
@jegga haha it's not that great, i just remember thinking at the time "whoa, fucking great, and unexpected start!".
And by thinking, i mean saying out loud. Next to my wife. On the couch. From whom i received the patented wifely "you're such a child" look.
For your second post. No, no i can't. Although, fucking my best mate....
I liked the first season of that show. But the females in it fucking killed it off, and i dropped it halfway through the last Brody-less season (although apparently it got better when Quinn became the focus? That dude was bad ass). The wife was sappy. Danes was fucked. The daughter, oh christ the whiny daughter. And the wimpy son can be lumped in with the females as well.
Remember the Brody parody twitter/facebook (i forget which) account someone posted here? That was pretty funny

Wasn't the first scene of series 1 ep 1 a sex scene for her? Woof

@mariner4life I'm getting immune to the you're such a child look now. Apparently my hobbies are in fact finding new ways to irritate the mrs and embarrass my son . From what I understand I can do both without even trying . Yay .
Anyway back to Morena, I'd forgive her since she thought I was dead. Actually I probably would even if she'd didn't think I was dead

Perhaps if Brody's wife was actually an alien lizard in disguise hellbent on enslaving the human race

@NTA Just had a quick look at wiki for that movie ... what were you thinking! Looks horrifically awful.
I thought it was an interesting watch but fell short in a number of areas. Hence my rating
I'm not in the habit of taking wikipedia as gospel
