Aaron Smith, who is in horrible form, needs to stop appealing for fucking penalties all the fucking time, and play the ball.

Shithouse captaincy from Read not to take the kick.

@Tim yeah, that could have been a bad misjudgement, especially with the French kicking so well.

Great game, probably my favourite test of the year. Well played France, on another day that result could have gone the other way.

Yeah, but for a Goldenballs length of the field intercept...

ABs seemed to have run out of puff this EOYT. That and and the incredibly infectious stupid penalties disease.

Yes, but it has been happening for a few years now. Increase the quantity, reduce the quality I'm afraid.

We got the W, that's it, season over. I think that's all the players really cared about. Get the w and fark off

Really shitty captaincy from Read. We needed to get some reward for the possession we had, and it was right there with 10 left.

Read seemed to get a free pass last week only because it was Rattue to fire the first shot at him

I can see why you don't kick the penalty when you've got them on the rack, but that wasn't one of those times. An easy kick, fuck points all in it, not long to go, all your reserves on and last match of a very long season. Not kicking it was stupid.

Good season. We have 1 glaring problem IMO. Our pack is just a tad underpowered. Plus too many penalties.

7-13 penalty count. It sure has been a bad tour for discipline.

Ball protection again very poor. Seems to be something which crops up from time to time -- we increasingly don't commit numbers and are quite challenged by sides which do. Don't think Crotty-ALB the answer. Very skillful, but lacking penetration. Anyone hear what injury caused BBBR to depart?

As wrong this is going to sound, if that BB try went to scrutiny, he probably was offside.

Gotta feel for the frogs there, but can't fault anyone but them selves, with all those chances still 0 trys on the board. Very enyoable game so far tho

Nope, he was easily onside, that was just crappy play by the French halfback.

I really respect Kaino, but I think they need to find a long-term replacement asap. He looks like he's falling apart. I'd rather see guys like him retire before they break down completely. And they need to try more guys than Dixon and Squire.

Kaino has had a pretty good season, better than Read's through the SH tests, he hasn't had a great EOYT though but we don't know if that was due to his injury or if he hit a wall.

We'll find out next Super season I guess.

I'm glad the season is over so I don't have to read some of your whinging any more. And yes I'm whinging about your whinging....

Up by 8 and not going for the kick - who cares. France didn't look likely in that last 15.

Too many penalties - did it really matter? No. France were turning their ball over anyway.

Too many chip kicks - watch what France were doing defensively and it was an excellent tactic. Just didn't execute it on every occasion.

I didn't mind the test. It was a decent contest. The ABs were put under pressure and some of our defence was superb. But equally some of the attack from France was good.

Well done ABs on a very successful season.

Just watched that dominated scrum again. Fingers all pointed at Charlie, but crockett got fucked, bent at the engage, turned in and stood up under pressure, the rest disintegrated from there. Bad all round

Good point in the post match, people will say we didn't play well, but we actually had to play well to win that, just wasn't our silky attack that was highlighted, buth the good building blocks

Ended the season with a lot more question marks than the start of it. Worrying to see the AB forward pack outplayed from the 3rd Bledisloe. Next year will be fascinating but definitely think there isn't much of a gap if any between this team and the English.
