Touchdown. 2 point conversion. And we are tied up.

I smell a Rodgers hail mary coming on

What happens of it's tied at end of this quarter?

Pack get up on the back of a 51 yard FG. Incredible end, with three 50+ yard field goals in the last 2 and a half minutes

could be a scorer if this keeps up. 3 drives for 3 scores to open the game. 7-6 to the Chiefs

crazy finish. Chiefs down by 8. Score a late TD. 2 point conversion to tie... is good!

    wait

holding penalty. No play. 2nd attempt fails.

Steelers get the first down they need to run the clock out.

So we get Steelers at NE, and Packers at Atlanta next week to find our superbowl contestants.

Gutted with the ending in Dallas. The Cowboys made a great comeback in the 4th Q and had the momentum. And then that pass from Rodgers.

I'm hoping Big Ben and the Steelers roll into Foxborough and spoil the party. Anyone but the Pats!

The 4 teams left are all good attacking teams, so next week should be fun. Superbowl should also be good.

I was really hoping for a Falcons vs Chiefs Superbowl. KC have an unreal roster, but they don't have a QB. KC needs to move on from Alex Smith and find someone better while they still have all that talent.

I'm hoping for a Patriots v Packers final. I've been a Patriots fan since just before they got good and started winning (I was in Boston in 1998/1999) and my work mate is a huge Packers fan (and from Wisconsin).

@Nepia haha that old chestnut. That's like saying you were a Golden State fan 6 years ago.

Dak Prescott obviously spent the last fortnight listening to the master of one and done.

Kyle Shanahan is new coach of the 49ers. Cant be made official til Falcons season is over. Son of Mike. Not the perfect but very strong offensive mind and a great step in right direction by 49ers. Brings f
version of West Coast Offense made famous by Bill Walsh back to 49ers. Shanahan to have input on new GM.

@KiwiMurph When Josh McDaniels said he was withdrawing from the process it was obvious the 49ers had picked Shananan. Excellent pick up for the 49ers, especially when you consider the strange/dull HC signings from other teams. Now we need a good defence co-ordinator...

@Sneakdefreak Yep excellent move by 49ers. Pairing Shanahan with a GM that he is cool with is going to be another huge positive - and the GM finalists are all highly respected, whereas former GM Baalke was a huge problem.

I think it might be tough for Shanahan to get an elite D Coordinator now but yeah will be interesting.

ESPN was suggesting a few days back that old man Shanahan might be the GM so the 49ers get a 2-for-1 deal.

I would like Steve Young to be the team president and oversee the entire running of the 49ers organisation from the GM to the cleaning staff.
Sadly, Jed York is such a naive fool that he let Baalke convince him that they didn't need help from those of the glory days - despite many of them being successful and smart guys in and around the NFL.

Never been a Golden St fan (although it would be nice to follow a Warriors that win something once in a while) ... can't help it if it's true, I turned up in Boston in 1998 went to the Patriots and they've been the team I've followed ever since.

The Falcons are shredding the Packers at the moment. 17 - 0, midway through the 2nd quarter.

It seems the Falcons are off to the Superbowl. 24 - 0 at the halfway point.

Matt Ryan has 3 total TDs(2 pass, 1 rush) and close to 300 total yards in one half. He has to be MVP this year.

24-0 at halftime. Looks like the Packers have succumbed to too many injuries. The NFL will be so stoked that the Falcons are in the Superbowl.
