2.5 gangbangers out of 5 dirty cops
Could you please define, may influence my viewing choices
@dK LMFAO, yes I should have read that and consider all possible definitions before posting.
Given it is a movie that is set in a "south-central LA" type location with lots of latino gang members, this was my frame of reference and definition for "gangbangers".
So unfortunately not the other type of "gangbanger" that would have no doubt been more interesting. There is one scene set in a very grubby stripjoint so briefly some flesh is on display but none of it worth even hitting the pause/rewind/pause buttons

Captain America Civil War.
Am absolutely no fan of these films, but really enjoyed this one. I thought the kid playing Spiderman was excellent and Ant Man/PR was really good. Oh yeah, and the black flying dude was great too.
I tell you what though, they can fark Black Widow and Hawke Eye right off. Those 2 suck balls. Firing arrows - awesome skill when there are guys that fire lasers. They bitch about BW not getting her own film. Well its not about misogyny, it's because she's crap. She has neither superpowers nor a cool suit that does amazing stuff.
Anyway, despite those 2 impostors I really enjoyed the film. Unfortunately the delightful person but utterly shit actor Hemsworth appears to be in the next installment so I'll probably give it a miss.

Got a free 3 month pass when the boy signed up to PlayStation Network, so watching the odd movie.
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
Hell of a lot of fun. Basically what it says: Jane Austen set in an alternative history, where Britain has been overrun by the zombie plague.
Rich kids get sent to Japan, less-rich kids get sent to China. All the poor kids just get eaten by zombies.
Its actually an interesting plot with a bit of a twist, and a bittersweet ending once all is done (stay for the post-credits scene).

Just watched Deepwater Horizon about that huge oil rig explosion and spill in 2010 of the Louisiana coast. Very well done, well worth a watch also apparently fairly accurate for a hollywoodified story. 8 environmental disasters outta 10 fat BP execs
I watched THIS OVER THE weekend.
Didn't realize it was based on that spill until the end (as I was watching it I was wondering if it was based on it) thought it was well done too, seems they kept it fairly simple without going into too much detail about the reasons why, which worked IMO.
4 million barrels of spilled oil out of 5 million dollars a month salary for the BP execs.

If you want to watch a film just for her then watch that one when she plays that alien who strips. The point is that Black Widow and Robin Hood Boy are crap.

Please name that movie so that I might check out the artistic value of her role in that movie and compare it to her work in the Avengers movies... all in the name of art of course.

Yes, of course, the name of art...
Hilariously enough, I had to Google the title because I'd forgotten what it was called. It is Under the Skin.
I can't comment much the movie itself. I'm not ashamed to say I just pretty much just fast-forward to the, eh, parts that had the most artistic merit.

There was also some dude with the elephant man disease.
In other words, a load of bizarre, arty bollocks saved only by the delightful Ms Johanssen stripping.

Uhmm... Of course I only ask in terms of the artistic merit of the film, but just how much did she strip and reveal?

A perfectly legitimate and non-perv related question.
I don't recall the scene too well, as I was more engrossed in the other aspects of this masterpiece, but if memory serves me correctly she appears bare-arse farking naked in front of a mirror.

I saw Fences the other day. I thought the story and acting were excellent but it very much appeared like a play which had been turned into a film. I don't think it worked very well as a piece of cinema. Story and acting are important though so 3.5 stars from me

Self/less
I really liked this. As someone else said: probably the best acting performance of Ryan Reynolds's career (outside Deadpool).
A tale of the struggle with mortality, and the consequences it can have, is pretty interesting in a society where science promises to conquer aging and decay. But like in this case, maybe only for the wealthy!
