finale of Taboo...
For the most part, enjoyed this series, thought the finale was a bit weak though, seemed rushed IMO.
Do like Tom Hardy, but I think he is in danger of being type cast with this character and Solomon in Peaky Blinders being played similar.
Yeah, I felt that too... and to some extent his portrayal of the Crays?
I can't figure out if he's over-acting, or just really good. -
Len Deighton's Game, Set, and Match trilogy was adapted as a TV series with Ian Holm as the lead. It was critically acclaimed, but a commercial flop in the UK. Hence it was never released on DVD or even VHS. Some kind soul has uploaded it to youtube though.
It's pretty good.

@Tim I read the books - all three trilogies. Hook, Line and Sinker, then Faith, Hope and Charity. All pretty good. I was an avid viewer of the series when on TV and was a bit disappointed that they didn't take things further or repeat it.
As you say, pretty good.

finished Santa Clarita Diet...interesting and very up and down...some very funny shit, mixed with some very WTF eeewww stuff!
Interesting to see how they manage to get another series out of it though.
All the main parts played quite well I thought, liked the early cameo from Nathan Fillon too.

@NTA I couldnt get into it, watched about 4 eps and decided it wasnt my cup of tea.
-
@Tim think I'll wait for the series to finish and then watch it, sounds like a time filler series that I will watch because it sounds good and I read the book.
Finished the series Six....as previous, bit average, think Strike Back is much better, seems they have better consultants on how to hold weapons and move, or maybe SAS is just better than Seal Team 6
plus, Strike Back often has naked hotties.

@taniwharugby Strike Back for the win! tits and ethnics getting shot in the face. rinse and repeat.

@taniwharugby I googled his name and this came up, same age as well.
