@antipodean I missed Palmerston North - because well, who'd want to remember Palmerston North?
And I did have to wonder - was the purpose of the quiz just to rub it in that Tauranga wasn't a valid answer? If so - I applaud.

As you've listed the cities in alphabetical order I struggled to name the city listed 8th because it's out of order.

Only missed the 1993 captain, though I somewhat floundered the '77 captain - typed him in because he was one of the few players I could remember, but I didn't think he actually was captain.

I really struggled with some of the Welsh cities. I did know the Scottish town that seems to be one of the hardest to get.
