Even worse, they're making Star Wars Nine.
I'd be pissed off if they didn't make the third part of a trilogy (even if it is the third trilogy).
If I had a time machine though I would use it to stop SW I-III. Imagine if we still didn't know how DV became DV.
Or that he started out being a whiney biatch

apparently broken movie traffic records on Youtube...hope they do it justice, scary AF when I was an early teen!

@taniwharugby I always thought Tim Curry was great as Pennywise so it will be interesting to see how this version goes.

Most of his books had a sexual angle or elements of.
He sure loved describing it..Havent read much of his but in my late teens and early 20's i read just about everything he wrote.
Hard to go past his classics, shame most never made any good on the small or big screen.
Bar The Green Mile and Shawshank Redemption. -

I re-watched It and was pretty bad in parts but still some creepy shit in there that stirred childhood memories.
I am used to seeing shitty remakes, as we all are these days and don't hold out much hope. But, and its a big but, if the trailer is an indicator(which often they are not..) of quality then it'll be good.

Logan
Not sure what I liked more, Old Wolverine's last stand, or little chick Wolverine fucking shit up. I think I must have missed a movie though, because I wanted to know how they got to the apocalypse point where all the X Men were decimated, and Charles lost the plot. I also didn't get how the younger mutant Logan Wolverine who fucks shit up at the end came about. A couple of scenes in this movie put dust in my eye, but man it was satisfying when certain people got decapitated and/or disemboweled.
4 road trips to Eden out of 5 Laura! Not okays!

Forgot those ones, have at times enjoyed his short stories or novellas too
Ones like The Mist are a good read because they are short and much less waffling. -
This was interesting, cut all the world building, doomsday and tightened the editing up. Some off the more goofy moments were cut.
Obviously taking an hour off the end, and knowing what was missing, sort of ruins the end of the film. But the build up was much better, and shorter.
Ultimate cut is still the best, can't cut Wonder Woman she was a highlight!

Re-watched an oldie on the weekend, Southern Comfort.
Probably late 80s early 90's, set in the Louisiana swamps where some National Guard are on a training exercise end up pissing off some Cajuns who end up hunting them.
3 dead National Guards out of 5 swamp rat Cajuns

I remember watching that in the mid 80s (someones older brother had rented it) and being freaked out by it. I think it's from the early 80s.

@Nepia yeah I remember thinking it was pretty scary back then too...not so much now, but a decent watch still, fairly simple movie that doesn't rely on effects or anything, so stands up well given it was made in 1981!! (just checked)

@taniwharugby Walter Hill is the director. If you've seen The Warriors, it has the same sort of atmosphere.
