Yeah, I was surprised by that. I was thinking they'd get a power back.

tbh, I'm really looking forward to see the Browns make moves. So many picks in the draft and so much cap space. Would be interesting to see who they get.

Patriots continue to improve - just signed RB Rex Burkhead from the Bengals. Could be another Danny Woodhead-type player for them (but bigger).

I don't know how it works but I think the Bengals are doing a few pre-draft deals to take advantage of their 9 position in the draft

DeMarcus Ware retired. Not a bad career

@mimic Waiting to see what happens with Butler..

He'll go to New Orleans, suck, and return to the Pats on a cheaper deal. New England can easily replace him in the upcoming draft though.

I think the Saints have the 11th pick in the 1st round. I wonder whether they will be willing to give that up now that they have the 32nd pick in the first round.

@mimic I will personally stop it if they give up the 11th pick for Butler. That would be insane (especially in a draft with a lot of secondary talent). At best, he's worth a fourth round pick.

We can all rest easy. Tom Brady's Superbowl jersey has been found, along with his other Superbowl jersey from 2 years ago.

Tony Romo is joining CBS as a NFL analyst to replace Phil Simms. But if a team has a QB crisis he'll expect some calls.

A good career despite not much team success. Ended his career with the third highest passer rating of all time. Not bad for someone who went undrafted.

I thought he might have tried a year in Denver but I guess the injuries took their toll. I wonder if he will live to regret his decision

It seems if he did stay in the game, he was likely going to sign with the Texans.

It makes sense. The Texans are in the same state as the Cowboys, so he has no worries about relocating. They also have similar strengths and weaknesses to the Broncos, but they are in an easier division.

Only problem is that they've never won anything and usually choke like dogs when things matter

That's as accurate a description of Tony Romo as I've ever read

Pats keeping James White and Malcolm Butler, and looks like they will be getting RB Gillislee from the Bills (unless they match the offer).
So it looks like after the big season from Blount, he is on the outer, and AP won't be heading there either.

Seems to be a problem that a few American sportsmen face - they come up from the "hood" and they still want to keep it real when they make it big. Unfortunately they get dragged down by people around them.

I don't feel overly sorry for him - he made the choice to kill someone, he reaps the consequences of that. In America, those consequences are very big ones.
