They could settle this feud the old fashioned way, and both get naked in a mud pit or something. Just saying.

I was thinking they could sort out their differences with an hour or two of naked twister but that works too .

I'm itching to know what Bono, Bruce Springsteen and Meryl Streep think of it all. No one speaks up for the oppressed little man like multi millionaire entertainers.

"Alternative" is applicable here so this is probably the right place. I couldn't live like this but I do find it interesting to read about the lifestyles of these types of people.

If you haven't read, "A life on Gorge River", as an NZ equivalent - I found it pretty interesting.

The idea that someone would wander round bare-footed in the South Westland bush for 30 years seemed pretty bizarre. And that he would find a woman willing to marry him!

This is how you turn an embarrassing regrettable moment into a full scale dumpster fire

You can tell its gonna be a day of doing fuck all when you actually click on this....

    Stuff

So stuff would have you believe U2 used their superior star power to kick out the less famous artist.

Truth be told they turned up as they had booked it and she left. The 'almost fight' at the gym was her seeing one of them and then deciding not to say anything.

U2s music sux these days but at least they used to be good. Hers has been horrific from day one.

@MN5 That is just about the crappest non-story ever. Brilliant find.

@MN5 that is a superb non story, it has so many levels of inanity and pointlessness

Mentions of tweets from the Lena Dunham about bringing snacks

Lorde almost saying something to the Edge at the gym but going "nah".

Lorde being inconvenienced be U2 doing what they have every right to do.

Just awesomely banal , somehow I missed it in all the fuss over a couple celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary in a storm.

    Stuff

I hate Lordes music but that's not really the point. Every bullshit story I read seems to try and paint her as some prima donna which in all honesty she probably isn't.

The whole 'story' is embarrassing as fuck. If they followed my life I'd be 'just about getting in fights' about 50 times a day.

The only insight it gave me was that some 'journo' at stuff collated a few snippets of nothing and joined them together into a non-story before heading off to the pub to moan over a beer with other 'journos' that their job is undervalued nowadays.

That just shows that such human story as that touches us all at different levels.

@Chris-B. I've read that book - found it intriguing, you certainly got a feel of how much he loves the land.

An uncle of mine lived in Jackson Bay - I was telling him I read the book, and they said he's turn up and stay and not leave ... they literally had to say it's time for you to go!

I'm certainly envious of some of the hiking he's done though. Great stuff.

Even 'the Sun' in England would think twice about a headline like that.

Fuck we live in a dark age...
