Have you seen Banks this year? I'd have agreed with you a few years back - but he's been off the pace this year. And he's got silly hair.

@Nepia I have. Not sure if he's carrying an injury - he usually is. Still going OK.

Why suddenly so worried about first-five eights? Only one AB 10/22 (Cruden) is leaving. Adding one to the AB squad, most likely Mo'unga (if he continues playing well), will be enough. And then just keeping an eye on the rest of the queue like they have always done. Nobody, except Ta$man and Sumo Stevenson, will miss Banks.

@Kiwidom wait, what? I'm not sure what is harder to believe, that a 26 year old who can't make a Super squad is being "too hasty" in taking what i imagine is a much more lucrative offer. Or that Marty Banks is, or could be, All Black quality.
@mariner4life Any player who can score a try, swig a beer and kick a sideline conversion in quick succession deserves to be in All Blacks calculations in my books!
