@jegga well it was for sale for some ridiculous amount, he offered them like £1,000,000 or something which was no where near the asking price, they laughed at him...a year or so later they came back and asked if he was still interested...

Nice, did he talk them down some more? The same thing happened with Eric Watson bought the warriors off Tainui.

Only difference is that Necker seems to have given Branson a huge amount of pleasure over the years, as opposed to agonising pain

Teenage Idiots Used To Drive My School Bus As A Kid - Jalopnik

I know 2016 has been a real jackass of a year, but, if you have kids, you can be thankful for this: their school bus is not being driven by some burn-out kid with less than a year of driving experience. That sounds crazy to us today, sure, but that’s who drove my little ass to school for years.

I saw this attached to a commentary about ESPN's failing business model and last week layoff of 100 reporters.

I always figured most American sports fans leaned right, so surprised to see viewers of monster trucks, ufc and wwe identify mostly on the left.

(Not real surprised to see wnba on the extreme far-left and it's not even close.)

@Salacious-Crumb That's interesting. Is a coastal resort town representative of the wider population?

@Salacious-Crumb was a backlash against the PGA for them moving a tournament form the Trump course in Flordia to Mexico in the lead up to the election.

I can't say the sword clanging is even synchronized properly but this is a mesmerizing soundtrack fuckin' good rivalry too, they blab some grievances in a language i don't understand but talk is short and then the shit hits the fan. I don't even know who is who but suspect the good guys are wearing the orange turbans? Make sure you go full screen on this and PLAY LOUD prepare to be floating in hypnotic trance brace yourself for takeoff Ready please mr Music

As it is May 4 (Star Wars Day) here is a recently released project from Palette Swap Ninja that took 5 years of work and was completed in time for both the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: A New Hope and the 50th anniversary of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. The album takes the original tracks (in running order) of Sgt. Pepper's and rewrites the lyrics to fit the narrative of A New Hope.

    Track 1 and 2:
