Young women are just afraid to be public about their actual achievements because if their public persona is self-assured, they are also perceived to be less likable.
What is actually glorious is the reaction to it on facebook. I don't want to sound too optimistic but it kinda looks like people are starting to wake up to this nonsense.

The 'cultural advisors' are nothing but money grubbing scum. All about meeting after meeting with exorbitant hourly rates plus fully catered meals, travel costs etc etc.
They don't do jack shit, and very often do NOT represent the thoughts of local iwi/hapu, nor do they have the authority to make decisions.
It's a fucking disgusting gravy train.

I came across that article yesterday and couldn't stop laughing at how stupid the claims and conclusions that were being drawn.
