Fuck. This is super sad news 😞

What a voice, love Soundgarden and the majority Audioslave's work. First filthy make out session had Blackhole Sun playing in the background.

@jegga upvote for the generous estimate of my teenage stamina! Glad we can find some sunshine with such shite news.

Was a keg party with the rugby lads if I recall correctly... think I'm gonna be listening to some Soundgarden and trying to bother the missus!

I really liked that Halfway there track that came out a few years ago. His voice was still epic.

He was able to sing something raw like Jesus Christ pose or a Michael Jackson cover and they were equally awesome.
I think he had a few issues though , like a stone is about his parents divorce after which he apparently never left the house for a year.

Bit of raw acoustic gear here. The quality shines.

I love Bowies music too but to be brutally honest he hadn't done much to reach the heights he reached in the 70s and early 80s since then . Cornell on the other hand has about 30 years of awesomeness .

What always amazed me about Cornell was he barely opened his mouth but just powered out all this sound.

@jegga didn't know the background about that song, that's a pretty intense reaction though. Guess that was a bit of his intensity shinning through.

Cornell, Patton and Maynard James Keenan are my holy trinity in terms of vocalists for my generation. Luckily young Paekaks grew to realise that Keidis is a hell of a performer but ain't a top notch singer. But you wanna talk about a premier sing-rapping funk mofo then he's your man.

Patton probably even better if I'm being honest but he seems to have lost it lately.

For whatever reason this is my favourite Soundgarden song by far.
