Warriors lose to a benchless Parramatta. I fucking hate Parramatta but credit where credit is due, that squad can play tough.

    They're still fluffybunnies though.

    Some thoughts:

    • Everything Gus Gould said about the Warriors tonight is 100%, scientifically-proven, report written, correct.
    • Foran leading an attack against Parra's right edge was the best option and they could have blown the score wide open but nope...
    • ...they go to Johnson who was shite tonight.
    • Aggression and quickness is key in the 2017 NRL and the Warriors have none of that on attack or defence.
    • They waited for Parramatta to run up the field to them. Never really surged on Parramatta until the last ten.
    • Also, the Warriors now can't offload or stop an offload. What happen?
    • Isaac Luke needs to run more. When he does he is dangerous because teams over run the ruck area and Luke can pop out the other side.
    • Ken Maumalo had a pretty good game.
    • Gavet had another great game.
    • Bodene Thompson is a weak link. Replace with Bunty Afoa.

Best team for next week's game against GC:
    1.RTS 2.CNK 3.Fusitua 4.Ayshford 5. Maumalo 6. Johnson 7. Foran 8. Gavet 9. Luke 10. Mautlino 11. Afoa 12. Hoffman 13. Mannering
    Bench: 14. Tevaga 15. Lisone 16. Lillyman 17.Sipley

With Hoffman and Mannering certain starters, we need another player on the edge that has a bit of zip and spark. Bodene is not that guy.

SJ'S passing game would be comparable to other halfbacks in the NRL, but his decision making right now is shocking. So everything is off. He's had the odd good game this year, but to me he looks low in confidence, lazy and uninterested. Playin' for the cheque only....

@ACT-Crusader When is the coaching staff going to accept that he isn't the primary playmaker? Secondary playmaker for sure, but he can't be the main guy. Foran can be that guy for the remainder of the season and Johnson will probably play better because of it.

Hoffman's 300th game today. Quite the achievement however the Warriors have yet to win away this season and I don't see that changing unless players like Hoffman pull finger. Minor signing this week with Manaia Cherrington joining the club immediately on a second tier contract for 2017/18.

A great effort away... I'd have thought the scores were back to front if I hadn't seen the first half.

Any angst about 'revenge' from Konrad on the Warriors on the field is well on hold...

They broke Foran in the process though.

Yeah, losing Foran for an extended time shoots their playoff hopes to hell although I'm a quiet fan of Ata Hingano so maybe it's time to just stick with him.
One guy not to stick with is Bodene Thompson. Two of the Titans tries were because he didn't cover his man in time. Makes little impact against the line too. Would rather see Bunty Afoa and Jazz Tevaga cover that backrow position (Bunty starting, Jazz off the bench covering hooker/backrow).

@Sneakdefreak Bodene is slow and has been exposed in defence a lot this season. I'm not a fan and we need someone with a bit of zip in his position.

The Foran injury looked bad. RTS coming more into the playmaking role was a positive today.

Yeah none of the in's are saying we've got extra muscle up front to stop Fifita and co.

Will Billy play on the wing or will they move Boyd?

While i still think NSW look better on paper, this is a much better pack. Younger legs, and more aggression will help a lot. I am interedted to see if Hess can throw himself around at this level, he's been fucking great this year.

Slater will be fullback, holmes and boyd on the wings, and gagai to centre. Defensively better, and also better on attack.

NSW in a much closer one

Manly release Nate Myles effective immediately, and have signed Toafafoa Siply from the Warriors as a replacement.

Reports Myles will join the Storm (who do very well out of old players)

Peta Hiku has been released by the Panthers, heading to Superleague.

Yay, no more stinking up the Kiwis now.

Man. He's had a quick fall from grace, from next big thing at Manly, to the Panthers and now to the retirement league.
