Wallabies v Scotland

Not having a go - although I'm sure the odd Aussie will take it that way, but seems a bit amateurish to me. Reminds me of Fitzy floating about in 1999 where it wreaked of desperation a bit. The game has moved on so much where it's hard to expect a guy to walk straight from playing into coaching at test level.
Aussie shouldn't have too many problems with Scotland though. At full strength perhaps, but with a large chunk of their team on Lions... oh never mind.

What the fuck? Michael Cheika speaks 47 languages and designs nice jeans apparently, but jesus naming a team is really fucking hard for him aye? Last year he couldn't nail it down to 23, this year he can't even name a bench.
It's not that hard Michael, it's not like you are swimming in talent.

That's precisely it though Mariner. He's waiting until the latest possible moment, in case one of the following occurs in the 48 hours before kick-off:
a) Jonathon Thurston converts to rugby union, effective immediately, or
b) Any other fucking leaguie for that matter, or
c) Stephen Larkham comes out of retirement, or
d) A particularly muscly Fijian walks past Cheika on his way to work, or
e) We can blindly stumble upon someone, somewhere who isn't totally shit at rugby.Now one, or all, of these things taking place is incredibly unlikely, but Cheik is an eternal optimist. You'd hate to be caught with a full 23 on a Friday when an ARU intern discovers there's a reserve lock from Manawatu with an Aussie grandparent... would be bloody chaos.
So I tip my hat to Cheika and this bold new approach. It will surely usher in an era of dominance that will never end.

Okay you blokes, we're only naming the starting 15, because i am pretty sure Robbo has a wedding; i think Dave fucked his shoulder at work; and Macca, chimp nuts and mullet didn't come to training, so we aren't sure if they are playing. So the bench will be whoever shows up
