Found the ranch a bit average, those two were easily the highlight though. He was great in Justified too .
It's definitely average.
Just watched a couple of S3 and the writers have dug themselves into a hole where the likelihood of a hottie in her undies has disappeared as well.
It seems to have run the well dry of jokes. If I wanted to watch a badly acted drama about personal relationships I would watch TV with the wife. -
Get Out - Black American guy meets the White girlfriends parents for the first time. They're a bit odd and awkward... even the black homoe hellp / folk that keep company with them are a bit off. A funny thriller / horror, it reminded me of a movie from almost 20 years ago which I won't mention for fear of spoiling the plot.
3.5 TSA Agents out 5.

Bloody hell, outrageously emotional movie. The better half basically spent the whole two hours in tears. Pretty amazing story very well told, hard to fault it. India is a fucked up place, huge disparity between rich and poor and 80 odd thousand kids go missing every year which is absolutely nuts.
Would recommend.
4.5 long train rides out of 5 lost children.

Loved it.
The Invitation too, for a similar vibe. -
@MiketheSnow Thanks for the recommendation, checking it out now

Watched "The Wizard of Lies" last night, the Bernie Madoff move starring Robert De Niro and an old looking Michelle Pfeiffer.
Unlike a lot of the big financial movies of the last few years, this one isn't a story of how and why, this is essentially a portrait of what happens to a family when the dominant personality turns out to be the opposite of what everyone thought.
The movie takes the slant that the family knew nothing, and builds its story around that, so i guess how much you will enjoy it will be linked to how much you can believe that scenario.
The majority of the movie takes place in 2008, the year it came down, with the last part up to 2010. There is no how, there is little given to who was affected, and its impact on them. However at no point does it try to portray Madoff as a sympathetic figure.
It's, okay i guess. A bit disjointed.
3 recovered billion out of 5 still missing billion

@mariner4life someone suggested a podcast here recently and I got around to listening to a bit - it was basically the same gist, family didn't know and Madoff didn't seem remorseful about anything, except feeling sorry for himself.
