Nicely done - saved the Cup and just in the nick of time.

Burling is a special one that's for sure.

By winning the thing Burling just took himself out of contention.

Must be something in the water over at Tauranga.
Both Burling and Kane Williamson went to school together.
Both have gone onto useful careers it would be fair to say

    Spithall very gracious in defeat.

Seems bemused how we have done all this by ourselves on probably the lightest budget.

    Noice!

Luna Rossa have predictably been named the Challenger of Record.

    Now the fun begins.

Cane was a year behind them too wasn't he? Not bad to turn out at all.

@Hooroo you'd have to think it was a very smart decision to do training in Auckland and arriving when they did, if they had been racing them all along surely it would have given them better opportunity to realize the changes they needed to make.

Yeah I actually like Spithill, suits the antagonist role perfectly, and he was very gracious, whereas Dalton was less so when it came to Spithill.

I can go back to knowing nothing about sailing now 🙂

While winning graciously is great... with the amount of flak Grant Dalton has had over the years, he's probably entitled to tell a few people to get fucked today.
