Has anybody watched Riviera? I see a shitload of ads for it on UK Sky Sports while watching the rugga - but no idea if it's being hyped because it's shit, or because it's good.
It's got the amish chick from Banshee, whose shirt-potatoes I'm a very very big fan of... so I'm tending towards optimism.

@Kruse my missus watched it, while I was away. I thanked her.

Edit: and are you confusing Julia Stiles with someone else, who is worth watching?

    Hahaha. 'Shirt-potatoes'.....

Banshee had a stream of hot women whose hotness was only matched by their ridiculously over the top hand to hand fighting abilities.

No Banshee girl, Julia Stiles instead.

Decent series. Worth watching if nothing else to watch.

What do you mean? Banshee was the best documentary about real life small town interaction with Amish and Native American communities ever done.

Annoyingly, the absolute hottest one never actually got her kit off (for you blind folk out there she's the Native American Chiefs daughter).

Which cop? I think there was a Native American cop as well as a couple of city cops as well?

Ah - so it is. Wishful thinking on my part, I think. Ah well, I got plenty of other shit queued up.
But I now got a hankering to go back and watch that ridiculous Banshee fight between bow-tie guy and injun chick.
And I'm reminded - I have to write a strongly worded letter to AMC for a few more seasons of Banshee.

Somebody needs to set a reminder to mention Banshee in this thread every couple of months.
    Lest we forget.

I've only seen Season 1 of Strike Back, and I don't recall there being too much/any of the chest-melon on show.
But you fluffy-bunnies keep mentioning it in the same context as Banshee, so I'm going to go on a binge.

Ah - and I see now, Cinemax only got involved from the second season. And indeed... yay, squishy girl-bumps.

TBH, I much preferred the first season to the second season (more gritty and realistic). I found the second season a struggle to watch so basically checked out early ... I guess I came to the conclusion that it's not like you can't see boobs all over the internet.

That doesn't mean I wont go back to watch the 3rd season and re-appraise my rating of it. 😉

@Nepia Yep - watched the entire 2nd season over the weekend. Very cartoon-ish, a completely different show to first season.
But cartoon-ish was exactly what I needed, a boobie-laden balm to the pain inflicted by the dastardly Lions.

Been binge watching animated series on Netflix seeing as I am up all hours with the new baby.

Bojack Horsman, Equal parts sad and funny.
Rick and Morty, Totally nuts but with some of the funniest writing I have seen since mid 90s simpsons.
F is for Family, Set in the 70s in a working class family. I think if you grew up working class you can relate.

I finished watching S2 of Into the Badlands last night. I hope Quinn isn't dead (again) because Marton Csokas is great as the main villain. Speaking of Kiwis, Toa Fraser directs two of the episodes.

Bojack is a bit weird, but the other 2 are brilliant. F is for Family is the latest series on Netcrack keeping me up way too late.

Bit random, but I watched the last half of Orange is the New Black with the missus and it was pretty damn good. Much better than the dross I stopped watching a few years back. Maybe it's because they don't focus on that blonde idiot so much anymore
